I m a newbie (not at doing but watching it. Lol) So pls bear with me. 1. I wonder if there is a danger of getting entangled and trapped. Although I know, no one would be trying it out with another adult present in the beginning days.

Always train with an instructor if you do the move correctly you shouldn't but it does happen sometimes, just have to stay calm and always think just reverse what you have done to get out and you will be fine

Don't put your weight into the silks like you normally would, pullup in the Arms until you get the leg wraps on

Take the tails off the shoulders then regrip & lift up taking loops off the legs

No it should never hurt when you do it

how long in yards is the aereal silk?

I'd recommend silks to be 15-20 yards but this one is on the shorter side maybe 15-16 max
