my ccompany has this laser and I would like to ask what does the buttons on top do? I know that HV button hanges the axis of laser - vertical, horizontal and cross, I dont know what the other one do, it levels it self?

Hi, great question! You are right the V/H button will cycle through horizontal, vertical and combination mode. The other button is to put the tool in "receiver mode." This allows you to utilize our PMA 32 receiver with your PM 20. The PMA 32 is great when working in bright sunlight and the laser line is not easy to see or when you are working over longer distances.

can you square it on the floor following gridlines and axis? it seems only square looking in front of it?

Why the hell does this laser have a battery saving feature that you can't turn off ?? I gotta get off my baker scaffold every half hour - 1 hour, it's getting pretty sickening
