I ain't gonna lie BTTF got me heavily into to learning more about time travel but I love the plot in general of all 3 movies
Time travel isn’t real... unless you’re incredibly wealthy. Arthur Spooner said something like that
This is a common mistake, Thomas Edison didn't invent the💡. He did in fact improved the longevity of the 💡 using bamboo with the coils, so it wouldn't burn out as quickly
I never thought about some of these observasions before, good video!
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a message, @tomasgonzaloroa. People like you make the weeks of work worth it!
Well it stands to reason... Doc is essentially a father figure to Marty hence when Doc gets shot up Marty screams as if its his dad getting shot right in front of him
What did you miss? Not much, but the garage that Doc lives in is situated next to a Burger King. We see Marty's family and see that Dave works at a BUrger King. I wonder if it is the one next to Doc's garage?
It's funny that you mention that, @johnsciara9418. The Burger King is shown right after the 5-minute mark, so I really struggled with whether or not to mention it when you see the Whopper wrapper and drinks. However, it never occurred to me to mention Dave. This is an excellent catch, and given how small Hill Valley seems, you're probably right about Dave working at the Burger King next to Doc's garage.
A very nicely put together video with some great attention to detail! Consider me subscribed!
Consider us grateful, @BoormanCrafts! You didn't have to leave us this wonderful comment, but we're so delighted that you did. You made our day!
Einsteins theory suggests time travel to the future when you approach the speed of light, not to the past. Also, the Kan inKal Kan is pronounced Can, not like a leader of the Mongols
Einstein actually suggests time travel to the future when you are closer to the speed of light not when you approach it, which has been demonstrated btw.
In theory, approaching the speed of light, stops time and exceeding it, would make you travel to the past, although this is physically impossible, sadly.
I'm still confused as to why all his clocks were slow.
That's a great point, @nicholauscurphey3925. We'll never know what Doc was thinking, but here are our thoughts: 1) It's a setup for learning that the Mcfly men are slackers (according to Principal Strickland), and 2) It follows the rule of 3 in terms of Marty being late. He's late in 1985 to school. Then he's late to the Twin Pines Mall in 1985. But, in the climax, he is on time in 1955.
Yeah, that’s always confused and bothered me, as well as the fact that he was 20 minutes late for school and blamed it on the slow clocks, but from what we see, he was already late before he arrived at Doc’s apartment.
Absolutely. I'm sure he'd blame Einstein for eating his homework too. ;)
@OurOnlyThing Doc states that his, "experiment worked", and yet Einstein was the first time-traveler (his dog). Perhaps he sent his garage back in time?
- Excellent analysis
- Up beat with no political axe to grind
- Great sense of humor
Well done. Best of luck with your channel.
