- Alexandra Headland, known as 'Alex' by the locals, is a coastal community situated on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. It's nestled between Mooloolaba and Maroochydore. The town has a laid-back atmosphere and is a popular spot for surfers and swimmers with a patrolled swimming area provided by the Alex surf club.
The headland has spectacular views of Mount Coolum to the north and Point Cartwright to the south. Alex is around 100km north of Brisbane.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!

Good morning 🌞❤️. That was lovely 😍. Very cloudy. Here's where you are lucky 🙂. You have a cloudy day, you can still wear a short sleeve top and get out and about. I have a cloudy day 😂, I sit inside with the heat pump on😂🥶😂. Such fun😂😂😂. Thanks for the lovely picture of the lizard 🦎. I miss seeing wildlife around my feet when I go walking. When we used to walk from Morayfield to Caboolture there used to be huge lizards all over the walls by the the lakes. I couldn't get enough of seeing them. Beautiful spot. In 2017, we stayed at the other site of the road from de Brisbane memorial. from there we did Australian Zoo. (before we came to this spot, we did renew the vows at Hamilton Island. In 2003 I did the proposal at one of the Whitsunday Islands). Thank you to take us back many memories.🙌

YES, enjoyed the video :) My plans of, starting, 4 years ago was to spend winters, up north. Was going to leave May and return Nov. By the time I had built a small camper the covid issue stopped that idea :( I even pre-ordered the CT dual motor. Well that is also stalled :(. I'm selling now and going the move to Adelaide. Loved the beach there, and have walked around there. Loved it! Thanks for bringing the memories back. Take Care.

hi nice place weather looks a bit ify john said that your videos are helping him enjoy his life .ive been to poole harbour today with my son hes autistic and needed some tlc today so we had kentuckey fried chiken and were mobbed by sea gulls which they shared bones as well my son ran as the seagulls chased him
