Gold Pony, I love your energy in all your reviews! Your enthusiasm is contagious. Quite a lot of features and performance at this price point. I’m impressed!
Appreciate it! That's for stopping by Mike!
I agree 100%. He seems like a real good dude who loves his boys too
I never understood why Hyundai\Kia keeps adding more and more H.P. To ALL their FWD turbo vehicles and not add a limited slip. It just doesn’t make sense especially in a sport model. I remember a few years ago test driving a Sportage and at every green light it spun its wheels. It was so ridiculous. Wear and tear on the drivetrain and the tires. I headed back to dealership and left. I’m a big fan of Hyundai but come on, if you’re going to make a performance car in front wheel drive, add LSD.
YES! The same problem afflicts the closely related KIA K5 GT with the same engine and the same absence of AWD. It appears that both automakers designed the cars to appeal to an adolescent belief that performance demands wheel spin and torque steer. Fortunately, there is an alternative, at least until mid-2022 when the KIA Stinger disappears. The GT-Line Stinger has the same 2.5L turbo engine coupled with either RWD or RWD-biased AWD that largely eliminates the problem. The MSRP for a fully loaded GT-Line AWD Stinger with an upgraded sound system and sunroof is $40,590. A small premium for a more premium liftback sedan than either the Sonata N-Line or the KIA K5 GT.
I believe the elantra n has LSD
SEATS !! No Power Passenger Seat ?? No Vented / Cooled Seats ?? Not Good Hyundai !! The sister car to this (Kia-K5) has so much more standard options ! Again, cooled/vented seats with power on both sides and a HUD and this car is the best bang for the buck mis-sized sedan !!
I was gonna get this...but I wound up getting the 2021 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport...no regrets!
Congratulations! The Accord with the 2.0T engine is no slouch! Enjoy it!
I believe they got rid of the LED brake lights… better getting a 2021 model. The 2022 Kia K5 GT got parking sensors, 360 view, and new interior color.
Both are nice... I just wish the K5 got digital gauges 😏
@@goldpony if the kia had digital gauges I would go for that one.
K5 being sold in canada gets ventilated seats, heated steering, digital gauges, and heated front windshield(heating element discretely embedded in front windshield!).
I Bought one and I Live it Better than my Ex 500 SL Mercedes!
I really like this little beast! Thanks for bringing it to us Gold Pony. You always do a fine job. I watch all of your content. A stay safe out there
Thanks!
Hey gold pony 2022 Hyundai Sonata n- line sport sedan auto v6 twin turbo charged name billy lambert living in Australia 🇦🇺 yes Hyundai Sonata n-line sedan auto or Hyundai n-line sedan auto
I loved this sexy-styled Sonata N-Line! It's a cool and budget Sports Car and it's cheaper than the Kia K5 GT.
I started to work for a hyundai dealer and I saw one of these come in and I just had to see what it had because I wasn't allowed anywhere near it lol
Amazing review! I own a 2021 sonata N line and I must say, nothing’s really changed on the 2022 model except the infotainment display. Also, the Asian, European and Middle Eastern versions of the same car have the 360° camera and parking assist and it’d be great if the US versions also had those. Other than that, it’s a BEAST!! 😍
They also get rear seat heating, window shades on rear windows as well as back window, head up display, and height-adjustable projector LED headlamps.
Also the tailights for 2022 became halogens instead of LED
does this have a heated steering wheel and LED rear lights?
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. If I wasn’t sold before, I definitely am now! I will be ordering an N-Line Night in white!
Nice choice! 😁
Which colour is this?
Great car and reporting 👍
Why didn't you make an N Line Limited Midnight! I want those bells and whistles with the sport fun.. Hyundai fail
2022 Canadian N-Line has HUD and 360 camera and Memory seats...T.
I just bought this car, have not driven it yet - if anybody is interested, I can give my own comments in a few weeks... Thanks for the excellent review - your driveway reminds me of my own !
How are u liking your car sofar?
@@geneforte9038 It's REALLY nice ! My top peeve is with the "lane keeping assist", which seems to actually nudge the steering, or at least provide feedback. I don't like it, and don't know that it can be permanently turned off. But the performance of the 2.5L Turbo and trans are the best I've ever driven.
@@johnbreen1527 you can turn it off in the settings.
@@everythingfootball8603 I'm getting used to it, but there are situations where it is fighting you. Like when you have to cross the center line to avoid a bicyclist, or a 2-lane merges into a one-lane. As long as I can overpower it, and am prepared for this "slight fight" overall not a bad safety feature.
It’s oil temp displayed in the center gauge. Coolant temp is bottom right.
Why review a car on a dirt road ? Parking lot would be better.
Great review!! Very detailed and even learned a few things about this car. Got one a week ago (the Night Edition) and it is beyond amazing. Thanks and keep up the great work!!
Congrats on your new car! What is different with the Night Edition?
@@pamelaweinrieb6002 night edition has flat black wheels and mirrors, red painted calipers, carbon fiber spoiler and center caps…only comes in black or white
bruh im salty i wanted the night one but it looks like im getting the gold one
@@seal4ever778 got mine in white.. It's amazing
Let's us see the turn on single lights camera 📷
Just got the N Line Night! I love it!
Awesome car! Congrats!
@@goldpony Oh thank you so much!
Hi gold pony get to 2019 Ford Mustang fastback v8 gt manual colour orange
Holy shit, my Civic sedan has 3 inches more rear legroom.
Good job man
Thanks!
Me not Hyundai how I like Hyundai n-line I love like Kia stinger gt2
English your second language?
10:56 ... 4 cyl exhaust note is never going to impress.
I know.. Even in sport plus I wish it sounded better
Greatly let down by a FWD drivetrain with no LSD.
Looks like what you need is the 2022 Subaru BRZ.
It may come later
Great car
Seat comfort? Have you been in a 2021 Sonata Hybrid Limited!
Is it more comfy?
@@donovansimison9336 Thee most comfortable seats Ever! Soft-cushy and firms up.
Oh yea stay away from the Poison Ivy
Haha I've gotten lucky so far! 😁
Maybe I missed it, but does this car display the left/right camera rear views when you use the turn signals?
N Line does not.. Limited does.. Why the fuck they didn't make an N line limited is beyond me
@@sfodge7 I have the Australian model ( Sonata N-Line) and it does show the left & right cameras when you use the turn signals. Looks like you yanks have quite a few features removed as to what we get down under!
@@duanedarby4060 hi mate 🍻 I have ordered one about 2 months ago and still waiting for any updates on when it gets here 😩 How long did you have to wait?
33k it says 25 on the website
not for a N-line
Does it have seat memory
In Australia & Canada yes, other countries only the limited version I think
why does this car have more HP and a faster 0-60 than the Elantra full blown N??! makes 0 sense
Larger class of car
No HUD option???
The Canada 2022 n line has HUD, heated steering wheel, left/right turn signal cameras, 360 camera, HDA and power driver seat :)
do you still have a Santa fe?
Yup yup! 👍
@@goldpony nice. My family was pretty much all driving Hyundai’s for along time. I still have two, but I recently bought a Toyota Camry. Hyundai’s do hold up really well, just watch for oil burning with the GDI.
I was gonna get this but ended up buying the 2022 Toyota Corolla SE sedan instead...no regrets! Truth is, driving a fast car slow so you don't break the speed limits gets old quick!
Saved yourself some money too...
How do you like that CVT after first gear? Most reviews say the Toyota Corolla is the perfect car for people who don’t care about cars or driving. That’s verbatim what mikes car reviews said
@@2004cyrus That used to be the case in the past. Like how your Mazda CX-5 was horribly unreliable back when Mazda was owned by Ford. Vehicles change. Corollas are fun to drive now.
Corolla Vs N-Line ?? That's not a fair comparison !! The N-Line has the Corolla beat in every way possible ! Now Reliabity ?? IDK ??
Big fan of Ford/dodge/Chrysler I love v8 engine auto
Hyundai owner car genesis or kia
Genesis g80 is a pile of trash. First dealerships charing 60 to 72k for the new one. Second it's a pig, slow as hell with the 2.5t and third for that price I wouldn't buy a Genesis lol.
