I think it's because at the time this album was released, Amy Millan wasn't a part of the group. This is Emily Haines singing with Torquil. I really wished they would put it on, though! This is one of my favorite Stars songs.
i dont kno...me im a techno (trance, house, DnB, dubstep, etc...) kind of guy but my best friend said u should listen to this...i did...i gotta say its nice..its not my style..but im not hating on it...so ima say the same i say when i comment on techno....for all those haters...dont listen to this if u dont like it and dont waste ur time wit negative comments...
well i know you posted this a long time ago but this girl (Amy Millan) and the girl from Metric ( Emily Harris) are also in another canadian band called "Broken Social Scene" so the way the songs are sang in that band could influence the way they sing in their other bands leading to the fact they found alike. Just a guess.

They don't own the album. They signed a really bad contract and it would cost a lot for them to buy out the contract. They can't re-release it either.
