Never would I have thought that a 50 foot feedline with a choke in the middle would turn a problematic EF wire antenna with 49:1 unun into a great multiband antenna. I followed the guidance here and I'm now getting great results on the analyzer.

Fantastic presentation, thanks for all the good info! Ordered two of your 1500w 71' bullet end-fed antennas tonight after watching.

You have definitely helped me over the past couple of years Bob. Down from the S9 noise floor from QRM to less than S1, sometimes shows S0.
Thanks for the Icom Kits for my IC-7100 and IC-7300, all the toroids, snap-ons, and advice.

Question #1 EFHW does work on even and odd harmonics.

I have the 155 ft OCF non resonant antenna with 100 ft of coax. My entry into the shack is only about 50 ft from the ground about 35 ft below the antenna mount. Knowing I shouldn't coil the feedline coax up should I run it away from the shack and then back to the entry (that would be the opposite direction of the antenna wire) or should I lay it out on a run past the entry point and then back to it? Also can it be suspended or should it lay on the ground?
