An authorised WAHL repairer actually told me from a mechanical perspective, these "professional" ones were entire galaxies better than the consumer-grade WAHL products aswell :)
@@MaDHatteRBarbeR did you follow the instructions for the first full charge? Basically three hours. Because I have heard leave it for 24 hours before first use. Would love to hear your advice mate :-)
Now with the whole COVID thing people are going to have to cut hair at home. These at $65 USD are a pretty solid deal for a commercial grade unit. It looks like replacing the LiION battery is pretty simple as well. WAHL consumer stuff is crap, but the commercial grade seems to be pretty well built.
@Micheal Yockey Yes these are not to bad at all, there not my go to trimmers but they are still good enough for a go to trimmer. Cheers from #MaDHatteRBarbeR
@Seth you could use these, though you will need to go from top to bottom slowly , if you go upwards with to much hair they will clog up Cheers from #MaDHatteRBarbeR
@@MaDHatteRBarbeR Do you know if the Wahl Peanut (the white corded version) would be better to use for this? I really appreciate your help. Theres still a huge shortage of hair cutting kits and I can only choose from a few
Hey brother great video here!! Question you said these are better than the Wahl 5 Star Detailer? I just bought a brand new pair of Andis Slimline Li Pro today for like $44 shipped in USA. I am Also thinking about getting the Wahl 5 Star Coreded Detailer as reviews say they are better than the T-outliner. But you also suggested the Wahl T-cuts in another comment on here, are they better than the Detailer? I am just a dude who is looking to save money cutting my own beard/hair at home & maybe cut kids hair or let me wife do that lol. Anyways God Bless you & Be Well. Hope everything is good where you are at. "If The Lord Isn't Building It, The Work Of The Laborers Is Useless"
Is it better than Moser chrome mini or Wahl lithium ion+ ?? If i want shave till zero means no hair at all.so which one is better pls if i need a sharp shave ...sorry for my english
These blades do not cut close, because they have a gap. You'll have to "zero gap" the blades. You'll need adjustable blades which are hard to find for these trimmers.
Out of those two, the slimline pro li was a better. I use the beret more on children's necks for outlining as there no as harsh on the skin. Cheers from MaDHatteR
You could, just probably use a normal clipper to hey the bulk off first, then use these trimmers to go over your face or clients face. Cheers from#MadHatterBarber
As their not adjustable, keep them oiled and always brush the trimmer teeth clean. Their best for lining up, as they tend to catch hair, especially if it's course hair. Cheers from #MadHatterBarber

I got the Sterling 2 Plus. Whats the next best thing because the Sterling is now discontinued and i loved it!

For Real This Time 😭😭😭
Yes, For real this time. 💯👌
@@MaDHatteRBarbeR is it still sharp and working?
Thanks for the video, just to make sure if the body made of metal or plastic ?
There not solid metal, though they are a harder plastic. They feel very nice in the hand, light and easy to use.

@@OzzyJay hello,
I always run my cordless clippers down before I fully recharge them, they all run perfectly for me.

Even though these are meant as trimmers, would they work to save off the sides of an undercut that's starting to get overgrown?

I would buy this Wahl Beret, Wahl is a more trusted brand.
The Beret cuts sharp too.

Is it just mine or do the trimmers sit in the stand loose and sometimes I need to wiggle them to get the light to turn on?
Can be fiddling to get them charging some times.

@@MaDHatteRBarbeR its a badly fitting base I have to say. It winds me up! lol
Can definitely be quite annoying at times.
Time for you to pass that one on and buy a new trimmer.
@@MaDHatteRBarbeR Why they will have the same base and same problem....
Buy yourself a new branded trimmer, like Andis, American Barber or Babyliss.

They sure are hard to source
fellow barber here... could anyone tell me if these are the same GUARDS that come with the wahl peanut? thanx
wahl beret or andis slimline pro li, which do you prefer?
Out of those two, the slimline pro li was a better.
I use the beret more on children's necks for outlining as there no as harsh on the skin.

are they same cutting length as the sterling 2 trimmer?
The Berets cut closer.
No longer made in USA. “Designed & Engineered in the USA” is what it says on the box 🤔
Good for Facial shave?
You could, just probably use a normal clipper to hey the bulk off first, then use these trimmers to go over your face or clients face.

Depending on the hair length, try using the guards first before cutting close to the skin.
