Jennifer, you are a star when it comes to crafting!! If they gave Oscar awards out for Crafting you would win!! I have been following you for years and you always amaze me on your videos!! I just found this video!! Thank you for all you do and share, you are brilliant!! 😊
Thanks for sharing this "oldie but goodie" as you call it. This is all new to me so I appreciate all your experience and advice. You share such wonderful techniques I cant wait to do this resist and giving it a finishing touch with the "reheat setting it" technique. I have most of these supplies and I can't wait to try it. Your experience teaches many of us so I feel blessed that you take the time to create such wonderful videos. Sending you positivity and gratitude. Thanks, Patty
Hi Jennifer I’ve started watching your videos as I’m new to stamping. I like your videos you are an awesome teacher. I look forward to seeing your new videos and the products you use are beautiful. Thanks so much for going to the trouble of making your amazing videos. Hello from Sydney Australia 🙂🙂
Wow, I love your examples. You are so gifted. Thank you for sharing. Right now i am in the hospital getting cancer treat wments and your videos are so encouraging and uplifting. They give me something to look forward to making when I finally get home.
This inspired me today to finish Easter cards. Used your technique and had only 1 background stamp. am now a fan of these stamps. They turned out beautifully. Thank you for making my day.
I am always in awe of your techniques. I have saved videos to rewatch so I can refresh my memory 🤗 I do appreciate that most of the time I can use what I already have...but occasionally I am drawn to expand my stash😂 Thank you Jennifer!!
Wow, how do you remember all of these techniques? You always give viewers so many ideas and examples and I love that your techniques can be done with whatever you have in your stash. Thanks so much for sharing.
These are so pretty ! Look like great fun also. Can't wait until my supplies are built to be able to start making these. I want to make some for our women's auxillary at church to use to send the members in need.
I just love this technique, so many possibilities. So many gorgeous cards. Unfortunately now I want all the new Simon stuff, such an amazing release. I love how you show different ways to use the product that I never would think of.
Thanks Jennifer for sharing a great video! I don’t have but a few background stamps but I have a lot of stencils. I have never thought about using stencils for heat embossing . Love this technique. Thanks again, you are awesome...
Jennifer, you have done it again! What great backgrounds and fantastic cards....I so appreciate your videos they are always inspiring. I am looking forward to using these techniques and am already picking out inks and stamps. Thanks so much!!
Jennifer, as usual your cards are amazing. I always enjoy your techniques and you always give so many options. However I’m writing you because you work with so many Stamp companies. The small sentiment strips are great for most people, however I wish companies would make similar sentiments with larger text. I make many cards for my mom to give away. She is 92 and sends cards to home bound people from her church. Most are elderly and their eyesight is failing and they are unable to read those small strips. Please consider encouraging stamp companies to create larger sentiments for people whose eyesight failing. Thank you so much for your continued inspiration.
Jennifer, you always make such beautiful cards and with so many different techniques, you are just extremely talented! Love them all. Thanks for all the awesome inspiration. Blessings
Thanks for reminding me of this beautiful technique, Jennifer! One of my favorites (that I learned from you) but haven't used in quite a while. Beautiful cards!
I had known this technique as Joseph’s coat. Can be done over your own background or patterned paper. I had not seen anyone choose white ink before, that is a fun twist.
These are amazing Jennifer! Thank you so much for your time and effort in bringing your talent to us all. You are soooo inspirational... I don't know how you can be so prolific in your creativity?!?!? Wonderful. o)
Hello again, Jennifer. I really love these techniques! I never think of just cutting out a heat embossed embellishment on white instead of on a color cardstock or colored with ink, marker or pencil. I liked the heat embossed centerpiece they really pop! Love it!! Have you tried any iridescent or pearlized mixatives to any of your inks, sprays, markers etc? Other than perfect pearls? Thank you so much for all tips, tricks, techniques and all the special inspiration that you share with us! AWESOME! ~ katz
Jennifer, I came across some mixative by Liquitex that I’m talking about here. An 8 oz bottle is like 8-9 dollars instead of 5-6 dollars for Ranger/ Tim Holtz .5 oz. I was just wondering if you had tried any of it. It seems a little more cost effective. It seemed that it could be used in an empty marker like a glitter pen even. Any thoughts? ~ Katz Baugh
What a fun technique and the end result was amazing! In using the ink pads for the direct to paper blending did the colors transfer to the different color pads? If so, how do you "fix" them? Thanks so much for sharing your creativity!
Beautiful cards. Looking forward to trying this technique. I saw the alphabet die in one piece in the video. Can the letters be separated? I'd think you'd end up with a lot of extra letters if you need to cut the entire alphabet when there are multiple letters in a word. Thanks for the inspiration.
Creative as always. Thank you! QUESTION: Was I dreaming or did I see in one of your videos a 'post it' type note that indicated to the recipient that your card was unsigned so that it could be used again. Sort of a Play It Forward idea. If so, can you please tell us where to get the sticky notes....or what it said? I love the idea and would love to send them to friends who are on a very limited budget. Thank you!
Question - did you have any problem with contaminating ink pads by rubbing them directly on top of each color? I suppose not but I was just wondering. Again another amazing video. You are so talented and inspiring.
Loved this technique, thank you for sharing. What is shadow ink, and how does it differ to die inks? Thanks again for your generosity and inspiration. Love and hugs from Mandurah, Western Australia 🐬💕🇦🇺

My favorite is the black background with butterflies!
These are all such great cards and the addition of the white, black and shimmer inks over top is a fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing.
I am still a new at stamps and dies and I am always amazed at your creations. Thank you for such wonderful learning videos.
Beautiful cards, Jennifer. I always appreciate how you demonstrate how versatile stamps and dies are. Thanks for another great tutorial.
I can't imagine how you keep SO MANY stamps, etc, organized!

Thanks for sharing the tips and techniques. The reheating the embossing powders of a cut image was new to me. Great tip. Great cards.

many stamp sets have larger sentiments in their stamp sets. I just reach for the small ones because I like them. :)
So many great ideas to get my creativity flowing!
So many "oldies" are new to me. Thanks so much
Wow. So many great techniques. Can’t wait to try them.
You are really a creative artist. Thanks for sharing.

Love the flower background stamp.
I love all these cool backgrounds. Great job..
This is indeed a wonderful technique! Thanks for all the new ideas for it! God bless!!!

I had known this technique as Joseph’s coat. Can be done over your own background or patterned paper. I had not seen anyone choose white ink before, that is a fun twist.
some beautiful variations of Josephs Coat
I love these cards will use these techniques for my classes and of course mention you and where all the tools came from... I just love this

Simply amazing and TFS!
Jennifer, these cards are just beautiful!! Thanks for sharing 😊 I really need to get more background stamps!! I currently have 3, lol
Yes, I remember the Joseph's Coat technique. We used only dark inks over the embossing. I think it's very striking, and it's fun!
I cannot wait to try tis technique. I am going to have FUN!!
Thank you for all the beautiful cards and great techniques...keep them coming
I really love this technique.
Really enjoyed revisiting this technique, thank you.
Fabulous!
Absolutely love this technique, I'm going to use it for my Mothers Day Cards, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, love the black background best!
I think at least one of the inks for the first card was Gina K, not Hero Arts :). Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing!
I learnt something new today watching your video! Thanks for sharing.
These are amazing Jennifer! Thank you so much for your time and effort in bringing your talent to us all. You are soooo inspirational... I don't know how you can be so prolific in your creativity?!?!? Wonderful. o)
'Jennifer, I will definitely be trying this technique out. My backgrounds never look as fabulous as your but they say "practice makes perfect".

Yes! They totally can. I was being lazy :)
Creative as always. Thank you! Beautiful cards!! Can you use embossing folder with this technique?
Question - did you have any problem with contaminating ink pads by rubbing them directly on top of each color? I suppose not but I was just wondering. Again another amazing video. You are so talented and inspiring.
Can you use distress oxides for this?
Sure can!
Loved this technique, thank you for sharing.
What is shadow ink, and how does it differ to die inks?
Thanks again for your generosity and inspiration.
Love and hugs from Mandurah, Western Australia 🐬💕🇦🇺
sorry i should have mentioned. shadow inks are dye inks. they are hero arts brand.
Jennifer McGuire Ink thanks for getting back so quick 🙏 so am I correct in understanding that they behave like any die ink? 🌷🌷🌷
does this technique work on an acrylic paint background?
Will this work with distress oxides inks?
Yep! Try this video: ua-cam.com/video/brvSD83_jhg/v-deo.html
❤️❤️❤️
I feel like this would look better if the initial blending was more seamless.
