That s why I decided to make mine and explain why I collect them.
In my case, it started with wanting kids and having a hard time getting pregnant ( I was 30 back then) and last year, I had 2 miscarriages within 3 months! so needless to say these babies bring me comfort :)
I love doing all the fun mommy stuff ( buying clothes, etc) even though I m having a hard time keeping a pregnancy.
bundlesofjoy83 yeah and it gives u a feeling that u did not mess up on pregnancy I have anxiety and it relieves me from stress and gives me a smile 😊 ps yeah the best part is getting cloths

I started collecting reborns because I fell in love with them, taking them out in public is helping me be more comfortable talking to people and I relax and have not had a panic attack in a long while. so for me my reborns are therapy to help with my social anxiety. I used to be so bad that I got sick. now after 3 years I am down to that butterfly's in my stomach feeling. great video!

Good job - thanks so much. I started collecting dolls in general out of loneliness, because I had lost my mom and was in this void. I kept seeing these poor abused Barbies and other dolls at thrift stores, where I would go to spend some time, and I thought I should 'fix them up' - to be useful, so I did. Now, years later, I enjoy the hobby for me - not just for fixing up dolls, but for cuddling re-borns! Take care ^_^
I’m not quite new to the community, I’ve been here in 2 years now, I’m just a teenager and I’m a sophomore. I was super nervous about my family’s acceptance, but happily, they were fully accepting and that made me even more in love with reborns. I collect dolls because kids are awesome, and maybe it sounds harsh, but I actually like that they are quiet. When I was seven, I was diagnosed with autism, social anxiety, anxiety, and separation anxiety. And dolls helped me out a lot. I love you Rae, and you are my favourite youtuber.

I hate when people call it weird... As a teenager who collects them, I get that a lot... Part of my family calls it weird and say I need to grow out of it, but the other side, my grandma makes them, and they support it. I have struggled with anxiety and depression and they really help and I've learned to just ignore the people who call it weird because they don't understand it.
I love the message of this video! I collect reborns because I love the art form and how they look so realistic. It also helps my anxiety!

I love this video this is what made me decide to just be me and stop hiding what I love from the world it also made me comfortable with bringing my reborns out in public... these reborns help me a lot too because I have depression and anxiety... anyways thank you so so much for making this video I really wish I could give you a hug right now 😊 I just love these little guys and never ever be afraid of who you are if people stare at you in he store then just ignore them... they don't madder don't let them get to you because you should never miss out on having fun with what you love and this goes for anything... thank you 😊

I love reborns and have one because I'm 10 years old so I'm definitely too young to have kids and I've always wanted a little brother or sister. Me mom and dad said it would never happen so I have them as my siblings and it's a great form of comfort for me.

My reason is because newborns to 6 year olds are my obsession and my sister is eight and I really want a baby sister or brother plus they are adorable and I love them and I have always loved dolls
I've been collecting dolls since I was 8 years old, (I'm 20 now) I love the art form. I collect my dolls because they bring me comfort. I suffer from schizoaffective disorder, and anxiety, because of this mental illness I don't feel comfortable having a baby at any time in my life, so the reborns help me be able to deal with my illness, and with the dolls it lets be maternal towards the doll. Btw I love your dolls
I've always collected dolls even before i came out as trans*. They just give me comfort and i have always enjoyed babies and little kids so reborns give me that satisfaction without the crying and pooping lol. I have also been diagnosed with severe Depression and anxiety so they help me that way too.

I remember when I was searching of 18" dolls ans American Girl Dolls for hat patterns and then I wanted to do hats for babies as I needed a baby doll for doing modeling (I also make hats for newborns). Some how, I ran into reborning after I searched American Girls. I thought they were interesting and so lifelike. I'm getting my forth reborn doll as she's going to be a toddler. Lol I still haven't had the guts to take my three out in public. I'm sure it might have to do with my shyness and my Dad. I do love to change their clothes, etc.
Good video. I have Lupus, And other auto immune diseases. The reborns are therapy for pain relief for me. 🎶✨🎶✨❤
You are right and I collect reborns because I suffer from anxiety and depression and having reborns help that and I collect them because my life is really hard right now with my brother and my mom stressing me out and I collect them because I want to know how to care for child so I’m prepared for the future and what I mean by this is that I’m not the best at dressing babies I feel I might hurt them since they are so fragile so having a reborn baby that’s weighted and needs support for their head is a great learning experience.
to me reborns are dolls (no offence to anyone) I have always collected and loved dolls. I have always loved baby dolls and the more realistic they look and feel the better to me. So Reborns are about as lifelike as you can get as far as dolls are concerned. I don't take my reborns out, feed them or change them daily. But i do enjoy changing outfits for the season and special holidays, I love to photograph them and do videos. I just found your channel via a link you shared in a facebook group. It shouldn’t matter why people collect them.Men collect cars sports items trains boats & etc. Noonesays anything about that.I loved this video.I collect reborn because I love dolls & there so precious & don’t cry just so innocent.

I love reborns and collect Paradise Galleries dolls because I am 32 years old and I do not have a boyfriend or a husband. I work at a day center and feel as though I could do a better job than a lot of the lazy parents who don't care about their children. I get so upset about that fact because financially I can not afford to have a child right now- nor do I have someone have the child with. I enjoy buying clothes for my dolls, making videos with them and just holding them and cuddling them. Sometimes I am even silly with them. For example with my Della, only her head is weighted so I call her baby big head lol! Sometimes you just have in e.

I’ve watched this video so so many times. My dad keeps telling me that I’m too old for these dolls and he hates on the hobby saying it’s a weird allusion that they are real and it hurts

Mine was passed down from my granma to my mum, to me. My baby Rose/Ryan helps my depression and anxiety and lets me get out my 'maternal-ness' since I'm only 19 and am not ready for a growing child yet.

I collect reborns because I love the at form, I love going out with my babies and so many people come up to me and ask questions about them most of the time people think my kiddos are real and I have lots of disabilities and I can’t/have trouble making friends at school(I’m 14yrs old)
I also have lost most of the few friends I had because of the hobby
A while ago, my then best friend said she feels embarrassed go with me to shops or wherever because I take my reborns with me

I love dolls but my family says it's creepy but I said I just want a reborn because I'm WAY WAY WAY too young to have a real child so I just think it's cute and I have a BIG imagination
