One of my top ten episodes. John’s “Iris” and Daryl’s “Somethings Are Better Left Unsaid” were my favorite songs but the entire session was fabulous including “Slide”! Both voices blended with perfection. 🎼💙
Dayrl still has a great vocal pitch. Some artists get older & ruin there legacy with crappy performances. These 2 still got it!!

For any guitarists wondering, the tuning on _Slide_ is: D-G-D-G-D-d; low to high. And for the album version, just stick a capo on the first fret in that tuning & play everything relevant to the capo.

This song was voted the darkest song I think from the 90s. Dark because of the underlying sadness of the situation. But even if some poll says darkest it is still beautiful and I love watching John perform with Daryl.
