Ryker 900 First Impressions
The Can Am IS a motorcycle. You take a class for an endorsement for a 2 OR 3 wheel motorcycle. People have also wondered if my automatic Zero FX ZF 6.5 electric bike should also be considered a "real motorcycle" or not. If I get pulled over with either my Can Am Ryker 900 Ace, or my FX, the officer WILL CONSIDER either one IS a REAL MOTORCYCLE and I'd be ticketed for not having AN EDORSEMENT. Again....it's a motorcycle....3 wheels or not
Of course the Ryker is a motorcycle. It has a motor and it has wheels. But better yet it has three wheels. Better braking and better stability. Never a concern of tipping over on a slick spot. It’s just better.

I went to Tulsa Central in 63 to 65 when it was downtown. I have a 600 and it runs well to. I live in Albuquerque now.
I have driven the 600. It is not slow!

The cvt is set up to where the bike won't take off without you, it's like a nutral so you have to gas it a little to kick the transmission in.
looks like a great machine, and the 900 looks as though it would be a great tourer. I realize it's cheaper than the Spider but I don't think it will be the best of sellers due to the price, Just imagine how many people would get these machines if it was affordable?
Why can't a Ryker or Rally be a best seller FOR THE PRICE ALONE?? Think of how many of us can't afford things and have to live vicariously through others who CAN! Finally, Can Am thought of a way not only to offer a bike that's affordable for people like me, but a motorcycle which takes the fear away of using a clutch and gear and balancing on 2 wheels at the same time. Why CAN'T this be a best seller?? The majority of people are not well off, but still want to be included in the world of motorcycle riding
@@sharoncarbonbeau8521 The price alone is way too much for most of us, Simply because we are working-class people. Nobody wants to live their lives through others. of course it can be a best-seller, I never said it can't, I just said that for a majority of working-class people it is way out of their price range because any money they have goes towards their families and rent, etc, no spare income for luxuries like this. I rode bikes for many years, both for pleasure and as a job. the bike although great will never be a bestseller simply because of the price.
Just an FYI I live in Idaho and a few months after them hitting the showroom floor spring of 2019 we almost didn't get a pair!
They were selling as fast as the dealership could get them out of the crates and put together.
They are Absolutely affordable 👍
I paid more in 2006 for an 07 HD Sporster Custom.
The Spyder my wife originally wanted in 2019 was a new 2018 model for 27k.
We bought 2 Ryker Rallies instead for 19k and change 👍🤗

are you sure you were in sport mode? seems more like you were in eco mode. most dealers leave it in eco mode unless you ask. eco mode is less responsive.
I'm feelin' you about it not having cruise control. Wish it did
i imagine it'll feel a bit quicker with a smaller rider, this is a big dude.

If you put a "brand new" rider on this bike, get a TRAINING KEY. Same as the normal one, but puts the bike in training mode to keep them from going too crazy on it. And YES it will do a burnout *EASILY* ..
I test rode one hard! spun the tire out of every corner. And I have over 200 K mile on 2 wheels I will not apologize (at 65) for riding a seriously fun machine!

You didn’t have it in sports mode that’s why.

You really need to do a little research before you review products.
The 600 is a 2 cylinder. The 900 is a 3 cylinder. And you went On & On about it being so heavy. I owned a 2007 Sportster Custom before my Rally it's weight is 589#s and my 2019 Ryker Rally is 627#s
So 38lbs is not a lot different 🤔 🤣
Take it out of ECO mode.
