I ordered a Dolce and Gabbanna Polo from Cettire and when I got it, it was too small. I tried it on, saw it didnt fit, and then put it back in the bag and sent it back. A week later I noticed in my email that I had a delivery coming up from Cettire. I wrote them asking what was going on. They said they sent the shirt back to me because it had been used. They also sent a pic showing a very small black stain. I then began researching on the net and saw 1000s and 1000s of people saying the same thing. They sent something back and Cettire said the product was damaged. I am 100% convinced they add the stains themselves in order not to accept the returns. I will never order from them again.
I've used Farfetch often and always had a good experience. They also don't charge duties, and are always fast to process returns.

I ended up buying the same bag at Bottega and love it 💚. Now I learned my lesson and won’t be buying from cettire again. Next time I’ll try farfetch 😊

I actually had a beautiful experience with Cettire. My order came brand new and arrived quickly. I also saved about $350 off retail. Now as far as Bottega, have u checked out the bag in the same color at the boutique? The reason I ask is because my first mini Jodie had a defected zipper and I was able to exchange at the boutique. I ended up getting a different color which had a completely different shine to the leather and it was stunning. The weaved leather does have that raw edge that almost appears frayed. Now whoever packed your order from Cettire obviously was shedding hair ewwwe gross lol! I’m not sure your bag was used but the color is certainly pretty. When the mini Jodie is used the handle is stretched and not as stiff as yours appears. I hope you resolve the issues with Cettire. Perhaps they will take even more money off. Another thing to keep in mind is the time difference which slows the response time down. I had a similar experience recently with Polene and their customer service. Good luck!

I guess when it comes to using these sites it’s always a 50/50 chance as it depends on the location and people who are packaging everything.

Hello and thank you for the video! I also had a terrible experience with Cettire. I’ve bought a few items from the during the past 2 years and I had no problems. However, I recently ordered a Ferragamo belt and it was too big for me so I packed it right away and sent it back. In the meantime I bought from them the next size down, I received and all was fine. Days passed and to my amazement, they sent me back the first belt I purchased from them and returned. What!? They emailed me saying that “it was damaged… and not in the condition they shipped to me”. I couldn’t believe it. They attached a picture of the buckle with what looked like scratches or smudges. I immediately looked a the belt and wiped the belt with a cloth and it is totally fine, it just had normal smudges on metal that cleaned up easily. No scratches, nothing. I sent them a video and asked to have someone else review this case and to refund my money because the belt is perfectly fine. I didn’t even use it. Tags attached etc. They replied stating that “our returns policy clearly stipulates that all returned items must be new, unused and with all original designer garment tags attached….We care deeply about our customers’ satisfaction but unfortunately, when a return does not conform to our policy, our only option is to ship this back to you. We hope you can understand….We consider this case closed, and will no longer be responding to it”
The problem with this is that the belt was in perfect condition, I’m following their return policy but they are failing to follow their own return policy. I’m not able to speak to anybody because they don’t have a phone number and now they closed my case and won’t be responding to me anymore! This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Worst customer service experience in my life. Imagine if it was a more expensive purchase like a handbag. I’d like to file a formal complaint about this but don’t know where to do since they only have this customer service email. Is there an organization that protects customers from this kind of rip off? Sorry about the long post!

Ooo also, when I unbox or return/sell an item of value, I video the entire unboxing or boxing up, to cover myself. I heard of a woman that sold a Chanel bag, the buyer claimed it was xyz unacceptable, and filed a claim for the refund. The buyer “shipped back the bag” and got her refund even though the seller disputed it. What came in the mail?? A well packaged BRICK!! After that I video everything! I know it should be different buying/selling from a company as opposed to an individual, but there is so much shady business out there!! I am so sad this happened to you!!! I pray they refund every penny you spent! 🙏🏻❤️

I wanted to purchase a Fendi from them recently so I went on Reddit and the reviews I saw there were EXACTLY as you described so I ran far away from them immediately. Horrible package, bad goods and terrible customer service. At the end of the day, it's not worth the savings. I just received the item I wanted which I eventually purchased directly from Fendi and it came in a huuuuuge box for such a tiny bag and I am so happy and have peace of mind which is a big thing for me when purchasing luxury items. Sorry you had to go through this, so terrible 💛

That’s been the biggest hinderance when you find these luxury sites that offer great prices but have to deal with challenges when the company is located outside your home country. It is unfortunate when companies solely rely on electronic communication. There are situations when you need to talk to a human being.

Wish I’d seen this before my purchase! I bought a pair of Dior glasses that i have been dreaming of a long time. They came with old makeup, dirt and sort of broken. Omg! Emailed them and they were like “ high-quality standards are extremely important to Cettire, which is why we perform strict quality control inspections on every order before dispatch.

So sorry this happened to you. A few days ago I received my Fendi bag and everything seems very legit. I got the Cettire brown box and then the Fendi yellow box wrapped/protected in paper. As soon as I opened it I was amused of how good everything looked like. The dust bag came also protected with foam, so as well the chains (my bag can change the chains). Finally I reached out my Fendi bag and seemed peeeeerfect and smells like leather. The only thing I'm working out right now is that it didn't come with an authenticity card, just the take care and something else but from my own experience with other items that I bought directly from the house (Gucci), seems like sometimes they don't add it to the package. Therefore I'm curious to see what Cettire is gonna tell me about it.

Hi there, I am just wondering what happened to your Cettire return. Did you get all your money back? Same thing happened to my order. It was just the dust bag and the bag inside the brown box. The original box was not included. There was no paddings to protect the bag. The bag must have been crushed a bit or has been used and returned since I can see some indentation already. I am in contact with their customer service but their reply was so slow. They sent me a disputed delivery customer declaration form and it says Confirmation of Non-Receipt Goods. That doesn't seem right. Did you receive the same form to fill up, sign and send back to them?
Also, when you received your refund, was there a foreign exhance difference?

I have bought twice from them. First purchase was great second item looked used and was packaged bad. I had to open a charge back cause it got stuck in customs and no one would reply from Cittire. Fortunately I did get my money back eventually. Depending on the saving if I would risk it again.

Did they refund you ALL your money back and if so, how long did it take? Wow, the customer service sucks. How do they even stay in business? I know they just recently got in trouble for selling fakes! Maybe the boutiques selling the items are selling the fakes....or its an inside job where a worker keeps the authentic and ships the fake. Sorry to hear it Jennie. I actually bought a mini Jodie bag from the flagship store in Sydney in 2021. I am not sure if it was because of COVID (when there is a shortage of packaging bags lol). The store literally gave me my bag in a dust bag and there is absolutely no packaging per se. I wonder if it was because BV didn't give Cettire the right packaging...

My hubby bought 2 items from Cettire, and only 1 arrived. Clearly, the other item got sent to the wrong address because they sent us a photo of the 2nd package arriving at a doorstep but it was obvious it was the wrong house. It's been 2 weeks of disputing, and they're not responding to emails or anything. Comments on their socials are from a bunch of people not receiving their packages and from people not getting their money back. I guess shop here if you like to play Russian roulette.

Do you manage to get your refund? I bought a Jacquemus bucket hat, and I doubt the authencity upon receiving it. The quality of the hat looks cheap and the alignment of the Jacquemus logo doesnt seem to be straight. It was wrapped in a plastic with no receipt or invoice unlike Farfetch. This is awful. I learned to only buy from department stores or directly from the maker and if there are any issues, you just send it back. I do not trust a lot of these random websites. I rather pay the extra on an item then receive an item that is not authentic or damaged. I am so sorry this happened to you.

So sorry you’ve had such a bad experience with Cettire. I haven’t never ordered any luxury bags from them, but the luxury shoes and clothes I’ve ordered from them are great. I have never returned anything but I will say their customer service takes forever to respond.

@@seija2494 Hey, thankfuly my order was delivered and the bag was in good shape. it looked like it was returned by someone else if that makes sense, and then sent to me, because the box and the bags and papers inside looked "repackaged". I filmed the unboxing from the beginning just to make sure, but fortunately, the only "flaw" was the tiniest scratch on the back of the bag. I have to hold it at a certain angle for the light to hit it for it to be visible. Also, I am 99.9% the basis genuine because of how the dust bag looks and the tags attached, also, it smells like real leather and I have a friend who owns the same bag and I can't tell them apart. My theory is that they sell items that have been previously returned by other customers.

THE NEW SAUGE IS SUCH AN AMAZING COLOR, but oh my gosh the hair oh no no no, that’s not acceptable. Even opening the package and you’re right no tissue and any sort of protection within the box smh. I can’t believe that company. Great call on sending it back. Hopefully you get a full refund 😩

So sorry this happened to you! I know now to never order on Farfetch or Cettire also. I wanted to see where they are located (Australia). On their website they call it “duties” too, which is weird since it’s actually “duty”. When I return a bag to resellers in Japan it does typically take 36-48 hours to get a response. 😢 Can you file a dispute with your credit card company as well?

I had a similar experience from Cettire. I bought a max mara coat and it was so smelly (literally I was about to throw up). I immediately re-packed it and sent it. But the worst thing is Cettire deducted Duties and some 25 dollars for restoking. Not shopping from them again. I don't think they sell real authentic stuff.

But I really appreciate you sharing this video about your experience with Cettire! I was debating a Versace crossbody from them since the price was so good, but I hadn't had the chance to try it in person yet. I ended up getting LV Pochette Metis East West instead when I went in store, which definitely hurt my soul with the price, but that experience and being able to connect with a person was worth it. As you mentioned everything relative but the in store experience when luxury shopping always helps.
Another similar store that works with Italian designers I've ordered from is Baltini and their packaging was actually really good along with good deals fyi!

Bottega rep told me they fix any damage. They have lifetime fixing guarantee on your expense. Not their expense.

CETTIRE offers discounted pricing because the items are most likely returns from a store/boutique. It comes with the territory. But pay close attention to their return policy. I think they charge and it took them weeks to issue my refund.

They have terrible service. I have had 2 orders from them. First, the shoes came perfectly. But, when I ordered the bag, I was shocked at what I received. The bag was not wrapped in any kind of tape or anything. It was thrown into a very thin box, and that box into the delivery company's bag. During the delivery process, the bag fell out of the box (I'm not surprised considering the kind of box it was) I have never, ever seen anyone be so irresponsible with their packaging. When I wrote to them, they replied that anything can happen during the shipping process. It's not their fault. Since then, I have never bought anything from them again, and I don't intend to. If they sell used goods, or neglect service, they could write that the price is lower than the market because you will get the thing not in new condition, etc. At least that would be honest.

This company is super messed up I had terrible experience if you try to get a refund from them, they will make it harder. I had to dispute mine with my American Express card thank Good. I ordered a pair of Burberry Mary Jane’s and they literally waited like 2 pounds apiece. Other than that they came in great condition I put them back in the dust bags and immediately sent them back 19 days later, they ship them back to me and said because they had worn marks, and they purposely scuffs them up against the wall or something
How disappointing it is to get a bag like that and packaged that way. They didn't handle it with care. A crappy way to do business. It's a beautiful bag but I would complain and return it as well.
