Dan Tyminski is among some of the best to ever do it. He has the voice that everyone has heard before, but nobody knows who it is. Just old school hard driving bluegrass. Po Ramblin' Boys are no slouches either. Mighty fine!
Yes. But he has long stood in the shadow of Alison Krauss and George Clooney. Happy to see him go all in with his solo career. Much deserved, and what a band he has behind him. Can't beat old school bluegrass even if it's hard to make a living at it.
"There's Silence in the Brandy" is quite the song. I like how tight these musicians perform. It's a wonderful watch. God Bless any Veteran, we love you for our Freedom.
Two excellent bands with great instrumentalists and singers. Its doesn't get much better than this. Among them are two of the very best Banjo players alive.
I interviewed my grandpa (WW2 vet) for a project at school...30 years ago... there was a gun that had a tripod on it he removed the supports & just carried, said at one point things were so heated the lead just melted & ran out. God Bless Our Veterans!
War is hell, for everyone, I am from UK and I know about all wars there and here. America does not bless it's veterans, so my guess is God told them not to. The VA tries, republicans don't want to support it financially, socialists do because it is important because its our people, serving unless conscripted is a choice that you make, governments abuse of patriotism makes it easier to enlist, we do not have freedom, the USA is in fear of itself not terrorists. Freedom does not exist, Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose. I am an atheist and I have the utmost respect for anyone who died in combat or is suffering from amputation or mental health issues. I have friends who have been destroyed by war, it owns your whole life mentally. None of our people and our family should ever have to go to war.
My Grandpa was a Pacific Theater Vet. Some days I feel worthless and undeserving thinking about the massive collective effort WW2 Vets went through to pave my life as I know it.
Thank you for such a great video. I've followed Allison Krauss and Union Station for many years. The Dan Tyminski Band is awesome. Very authentic and talened. Great songs...
The song that talks about Old Country Justice, where can I learn more about the writing and the song. I have feelings about it I am not comfortable with.
@@NTKHZN Odd that you mention that because I have in fact seen an Eagles cover by Vince Gill get removed. I loved watching that. It was him performing 'I Can't Tell You Why' with an Eagles cover band in Nashville. I had never downloaded the vid to my device, sadly. He's also sort of an honorary Eagles member and has toured with them as the lead guitarist multiple times and yet that video still got pulled.
“There’s power in the blood. But there’s silence in the brandy” man those lyrics are amazing.

Maddie Denton has a very complimentary voice, she makes the vocals when they harmonize perfect. Plus she's a world class fiddle player.
No doubt!!! Sawing on it
Dan's band is AWESOME!
FABULOUS, thanks so much for posting this wonderful show
Never seen Dan this thin. Without that wonderfully distinctive voice I’d never recognize him.
Fantastic version of hey brother I’m starting to get into bluegrass

@4:24 I think she set the fiddle on fire
both EXCELLENT bands
Opening number…My Uncle (Bill Yates) played with Jimmy. I have stories…the man was unique lol and yes the King.
That has to be the best dobro player alive. I can see why Dan doesn't need Jerry Douglas anymore.
wow. they are good. he has the high lonesome voice down. i like it!!!!
Jason is just on another level… Jesus
Excellent bg band
That Beard cover plate looks like Ron Landis engraved it.
Trailhead?
@@johnapicella3547 looks like a Jerry Douglas model! "Blackbeard"

26:55 ..?
It's East Nash Grass not the Po' Rambling Boys
Thanks for the 411. Sure thought it was someone else. The female fiddle, the Dobro player didn’t add up.
play that bass fiddle girl. play it
I assume The Boy Who Wouldn’t Hoe Corn got hit with a copyright violation.
Shouldn't have. He's the original artist and even if he wasn't, covers are allowed under existing copyright laws on UA-cam.
@@Eliminator5555unless it’s a Eagles cover lol

Grace Davis might be the most beautiful woman alive... But she's taken ... Hehe
