Nalua's Reborn spreads damage over time, similar to the Wizard Hat and the X-Mass Tree items. This encourages going for self damage synergy, since each delayed damage counts as an additional trigger. In other words, when using items such as the Turtle Shield you end up with lots of extra buffs on top.
