Beautifull car as a morning in June, superb car from the batcave 🦇 thanks Jay grams president of volo auto and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩
By this time 1971 except for Cadillac and Lincoln tail fins were a thing of the past. Yet this body style Monte has them, not tall but well defined fins. These Monte Carlo's rear design is very similar to that of a 1965 Oldsmobile 98 except for the shape of the taillights.
Yes indeed Jay........ you have yourself a real gem here a true beauty! And at just on the borderline of $48,000 someone will take this off your hands soon I know I would if I had it in a heartbeat.
This is a BEAUTIFUL car Jay! I keep watching all the time and I know that there’s gonna be ONE for me soon…..you guys are really on your game lately. When I was in my 40’s I flew and came to your place twice. I never ended up buying a car. But I’m over 180 cars in now at 62 yrs old. And I am fussy like you mention here. This one is one of about five here of late that get my ❤ racing. I only have one spot left in the garage now and I gotta make the last one (for a while 😅) count!!
Great styling on those Monte's. I would think you guys would have cleaned that drivers seat before you showed it? You normally do repairs. Body off they should have straightened the rear bumper on the left side. Nevertheless a cool car Jay!
This is odd... picture 64 and 77 is of a Monte Carlo of a differing color to that of this video?? Gold is the color of vehicle in this video and yellow is the color of the vehicle in these two pictures... explanation???
The undercarriage pictures are taken in our detail shop, by the detailers with a smartphone that is just in Auto settings. It is probably just a bad combination of the phones auto settings deciding to do whatever it thinks it is seeing and the intense, strong cool hue lights in there making it appear more yellow than it should.
Beautiful car, love the color, but what really irks me is when you do a complete restoration, get the exhaust right! The GM cars of that era did not have straight pipes running straight out the back! Go the extra mile and make it right! No car of that era had straight pipes running out under the bumper! It’s just wrong and butt ugly!

Another beautiful vehicle ‼️👍🌞😊💛🧡🧡🧡🧡💛
I agree Tim!! 👍👍
I own a 2004 SS Monte Carlo & luv it to death. I have this '71 Monte Carlo as a 1:64 die cast - TITZ!!
Nice Monte Carlo! Clean!! My guesstimate $49k

Olds 98 definitely influenced these tail lights and back end.
😍Great looking Monte!!!!!!👍
Right year.. I learned to drive in a ‘71 in green with the matching interior, bucket seats and horseshoe floor shifter. Hit me up if you get one.

Beautiful MC , seats should have been vinyl not fabric !!
Both were available in first generation Monte Carlos.

Nobody ever puts the tie wrap around the upper radiator hose that secures the hose to the fan shroud. Details!!
Some of us do, but the factory didn't use a tie wrap.
I used an NOS hose strap, and I have a couple more saved for future restorations I'll do.
Stunning!
So sweet!!!
My first car was a Monte Carlo

Definitely, the lights are making a gold car look yellow. Not a big deal
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales Excellent, thanks for the info!!

The '70 and '71 SS454s had the exhaust straight out the back, but this car isn't one of them.
Exhaust on the Chevelle Super Sports were the same way as the Montes.
When u say “ it’s a sweetheart”
That’s code for” I just added 43k to what I paid for it”😂
