I’m wanting to see Sititi in as well. This 2nd test hoping we see major improvements
There needs to be a shot clock on the big screen when kicks are being taken, the crowd can help DMac by counting down the seconds, this will bring the crowd in to the game and there can be no confusion of the time, this will take the ref out of any controversial calls.
the only change is as you say half back the rest are the same to give time to Gel
Someone like Tamaiti or Tosi is sorely needed in the squad for the second match. The current post-contact metres are lacking.
Yeah, he seems like someone who you can chuck in the deep end, and watch them swim.
Probably won’t be any drastic changes, I’m expecting the AB forwards to turn up the heat on the English forwards especially at set piece an area where they had dominance. Also if Clarke is ready I hope he gets a chance to use his bulk around the fringes, ALB to start with Proctor on the bench Reiko was just a little loose and never really challenged the line.
That’s fair. I just don’t think Ioane did anything to be dropped. Clarke off first phase is a massive threat but Reece and Tele’a were great
@@KickOnRugbyHe threw an intercept pass on the opponents 22 and got absolutely smashed multiple times. I love him but it wasn’t a great showing
Ioanes defence in the midfield is terrible imo. Shouldve put him back on the wing or maybe even fullback
There's no way Scott Barrett is ever starting at 6 again for the All Blacks. NZ is ridiculously stacked with great loose forwards but very thin at lock. Scott Barrett is by far the best lock in the country and he is settled there now. The captain isn't going to be shifted around like a utility.
Ratima ,good combo with D Mac , Brown to start ..
The english pulled back at the first scrum, then Marler was snotted, and faked a keg injury. Scott Barrett will play better at lock. Timing and closing the gap was a problem, both locks will be better for the game. Id like to see Blackadder get a run, papalii was anonymous last week. They Abs will have better tactics, you have to earn the chance to go wide, and they didnt earn the right
Not sure Marler faked the injury, he’s on his way home so must be serious. Barrett was great at lock, I just think having another lineout option will help there
Cant see any changes to start and why would you buddy, except the half back as you already know and people stop bagging Findlay he's solid and Ratima will have to bide his time.
Yeah that’s fair. Just had a feeling 😅
Think if Ratima is on the bench he’ll get minutes though
Solid team for whats available. Mario is painfully good at attacking lineout, i would like to start Proctor with Barret with reiko as sub or just rest him and ALB because he’s a sure thing just as is Beaudy, both solid readers of the game. Amua would be a great starter just to strengthen his confidence, Cody at the 50mark would be insane.
1 lomax 2 Taylor 3 de groot 4 tuipolotu 5 Barrett 6 finau 7 blackadder 8 savea 9 Christie 10 Mckenzie 11 Clarke 12 Barrett 13 ALB 14 Reece 15 Perofeta 16 amua 17 Williams 18 Newell 19 vaai 20 sititi 21 Ratima 22 Ioane 23 barrett
I was pleased with the ABs. I was half expecting them to lose the first test, but they did well.
A different ref thanks.
Scott Barrett at 6 last time they played England was a big mistake, can’t see it happening
@@KickOnRugby All Blacks struggling to find locks with calibre of Whitelock and Retallick
I think Razor will be tempted to start with Aumua for his impact (and Taylor to sub on with Newell/Tuungafasi later). Razor won't change Barrett at lock (we don't have the luxury of a spare if Vaa'i or Tuipolotu get injured). However I think Razor may give Proctor a start (longshot I know but Billy was probably in better form the Reiko during SuperRugby, and Reiko didn't play that well I thought in Dunedin). My BombSquad is Taylor, Newell, Tuungafasi, Vaa'i, Sititi, Jacobsen, and only Ratima and Beauden for the backs (Beauden can cover most backline positions if needed). It's a Six-Two split sure - but its what I think we need to combat tht English 8-pack, especially in that last 30 minutes..
Yeah I love the 6-2 split I predicted that for the 1st Test. Be interesting to see if he makes any changes💪
Blackadder will probably be at 6, and if it was up to me Proctor would start over Ioane.
Wouldn't mind to see Amua start and see an all Crusader front row come of the bench, Williams, Taylor, Newel
Yeah not bad. I’d love Proctor to start aswell. Might be keeping that for Fiji test
4:21 Clarke in Reeves bench
Time to move Reiko out to the wing. He hasn't made a break at cenre in years.
It doesn't matter who plays. We don't lose at Eden Park. If Razor loses this game, he should resign as coach. Even Foster wasn't that bad.
@salemmurray711 Foster wasn't that bad because he got covid, and thankfully Schmidt coached our team. Literally the only Irish Tour match we won thanks to him.
@@salemmurray711 Also, we are going to lose there eventually, just like we will one day lose the Bledisloe Cup. Don't be melodramatic.
Cortez Ratima is already a better half back than thinly crispy and has an established combination with Dmac. The biggest issue they had was beating that rush defence and only making 2.7 post contact meters. I would not be surprised to see Aumua starting for his ability to smash through the line. The crusaders front row as the bomb squad Newell, Taylor Williams. Watch out for Caleb Clark coming back in if fit. ALB to replace Ioane.
Honestly, if they wanted to take a risk, pair Proctor with Barrett. Those two have played together all club season. And yeah, Christie was very indecisive at points in the first match, and it cost us opportunities.
I agree, but we need Billy proctor at 12 and Alb at 13, our midfield is crap. But all tests are won and lost up front
Aumua’s impact off the bench is huge though. I reckon he get’s more minutes
"Thinly Crispy"😂💀😂
Caleb clarke for who? No way Reece isnt playing he's the best winger in the world atm.
