Oh, Bearware, what if you made a level that is a maze of rooms with there being two to three of each room. Each room is of course trolly. There are two checkpoints, that you can go around to collect as long as you learn which route goes between them. There are 8 red coins hidden in this maze that you need to get for a key. However, there are actually two copies of the key door room, one which leads to the end, and the other which just leads to another key, so they at least get a chance to find their way through the maze to the other copy without dying a key death. The idea, of course, is to make a troll level so evil that you legitimately need to get out a pen and paper and actually map it out like a D&D dungeon.
Watching Carl die to literally everything and then watching Geek casually dodge about a third of the trolls without even realizing really cements just how predictable Carl is for every troll level creator.

Someone needs to develop some sort of anti-softlock tech where, after getting damaged down to smol Mario, it triggers a bomb to go off and free you to the finishing tape... but not just a timer, actually tied to getting the damage.
if the ASL was big enough to require you scrolling the screen, you could do it using progressive power-ups, the fire flower wouldn't trigger the bomb but the mushroom (that only appears when you're small) would.

Ive seen Carl played lot of garage level over the years and he learned how do make them. After that he created some troll levels and send To all streamers To play it 😂😂😂😂. Carl is fun to watch been trolled tho 😁. Btw i just subscribed to your Channel ✌
look for defender or carl's discord. there are many players will test it for you and give some feedback. if your troll is really good, it will recommend to them.
I say: First start with streamers like Wendiago and Chirchi, after you have polish it off. Once they see it, they will give you more advice. Take their advice to improve your level. Then submit to either defender or Carl.

I do always love a good troll level where the CP 1 is a crazy contraption that hurls you around or a vehicle that delivers you helplessly to the CP.
