Havent heard one good reason as to why we shouldnt want our city to improve and catch up to every other major city. Did this person say build a garden? 😆 talk about clueless.
I live two hours away from San Antonio. I used to go to Spurs games several times a year when it was downtown at the Alamodome. I will be going back and spending tourist money if these entertainment arenas are made near downtown again.
If we're going to build a new baseball stadium we should consider reaching out to the Tampa Bay rays, their stadium situation is dire and relocation likely. Perhaps instead of building a tiny 5,000 seat AAA ballpark we can build a 35,000 MLB ballpark and have the Rays relocate here, then have them rebrand as the Missions.
I like the idea of a new downtown area for the Spurs, but a baseball stadium for a triple A baseball team would be a deal breaker. They have been trying to cram that baseball park idea down our throats for many years now. I love Major League Baseball and would buy tickets for that, but I never attend minor league baseball games. Build a new arena for the Spurs similar to what UT-Austin built, and a parking garage, but that’s it.
The Spurs just recently received some new multi-billion dollar investments. They will get it done. The Spurs' lease for the Frost Bank center expires in 2026.
How about a new football stadium? Maybe the UFL can help once it grows more? Give the Brahmas a nice NFL sized stadium that will attract the NFL giving us a team.
San Antonio will continue to live in the shadows of Dallas, Houston, and now Austin, without projects like these. Get it done.
Facts look at Austin skyline can't compare
@@ericperales4505ours is more unique Austin just got a bunch of glass boxes

Someone needs to tell her to get a job so she can buy her own food. It’s not the job of the government to feed its citizens.
@@MB-42 @Woodyj1983 while i dont agree fully with her take, you both are the clueless ones

Major League Baseball or nothing. San Antonio Rays makes sense!
We don’t need a stadium for a triple-A team.
Do it before wemby leaves

Good! Let them build them downtown!! Nothing but homeless downtown right now. Why doesnt KSAT interview someone for the stadium for once?

Build a garden??? if you don’t go grow your own garden and let let Antonio grow! Dam I’m tires of being the boring city in Texas already
Not if property taxes are gonna go up they’re already high as hell.
@erichernandez9697 that's not where the money will come from. Stop spreading misinformation
@@Woodyj1983 where will it come from?
Just think if we get an all star weekend that’ll be a huge earning for the city plus
