      Darvin hams offense scheme for AD: get in the paint and try to force throw him the ball. My God ham was so bad.. JJ has AD getting the ball in spots more like jokic does where he has multiple options of attack instead of just "get in the paint and do something"

    • @AaronPlay
      @AaronPlay Місяць тому +25

      To be fair Hamm’s offense often did have solid movement (not this good)… in the first half of games. But later in the season LeBron really slowed things down. Dude was 40, just got tired late in games, and did a lot of holding and running clock. I’m a LeBron fan, but let’s be objective.

      what a night and day difference competent coaching can make, he looks amazing in the limited sample so far this year! aggressive, pushing the pace, going after his own rebounds, using his frame to get to where he wants to be. really excited for how this season could go for him

      He’s the best rim protector in the league. He was never known for perimeter defense, so lakers ran offence to get him out of the paint because they actually are scared by his rim protection. Rudy is a an all time defensive player.

    • @jarraa16533
      @jarraa16533 Місяць тому +5

      He's probably THE defender teams have to change their offenses to play. He is objectively the best rim defender in the league as of right now and without a doubt one of the best help side defenders ever. Literally in this video the Lakers had 5 straight scoring posessions the second Rudy comes off the floor.
      There are 2 ways teams can attack a big like this. Either stretch the floor with a shooting big and make him choose between protecting the rim or give up an open 3. Or go at him and drag him out of the paint not necessarily to target him, but so the paint opens up by removing his rim protection. It looks like hes getting picked on because they have to.

    I have been saying for the last two years that we don't have a imagination on offense! We have good players they just need to be played the right way! People kept saying we needed more talent but it was the coaching that needed talent! With AD and LeBron on the floor together I thought surely they could build a top level offense! The players knew it and most of the fans knew it! I know it's been 1 game but look what a little vision can bring!

      @@HoopsDigest my observation of the Lakers offense is how they are getting easier shots than they are used to because of JJ's offense! The plays are ran to look like one way then go the other! Everyone touches the ball and the last two passes made are the ones that makes for the easier baskets! Also they appear to be having fun and that helps with the energy on defense!
