I mean, she is still technically saving it, the design is the same and she’s using the same nail. I guess it’s kinda both? For example, if I paint on something and the paint starts to come off or it’s really wonky it’s EXTREMELY IMPORTANT I sand it down and kinda restart so it’s not lumpy with bad streaks, and is all patchy. It’s also because sometimes if your fixing how the design is placed on your art piece then you need to do a ton of coats to fix it it and that gets really wasteful and doesn’t turn out as good, and the colors can be off. Not trying to be rude and judgy, I’m just explaining a different perspective on how she technically is saving it as someone who does things like this all the time. But I guess it depends on what you consider to be saving it and in the end your entitled to your opinion.
