A nice little tidbit to consider too is how the machine that gives you the Savage Omega raids when you complete a branch of them basically delivers a message from Omega after the Alphascape saying these are harder test it devised to push you even further.
Even in death Omega be like “get STRONGER”

There is a lot of serious stuff in FF14 but there is also things that are down right ironic.
Omega is literally the definition of "this is not even my final form".
I love refreshing myself on the lore with your videos. The little note that the omega minion "may have more of the real omega in it than they think" brings a little smile to my face thinking omega is getting to learn more about humanity and the human soul. Love these lore videos, keep up the great work!

I just hope that Omega F (or M for some people) shows up again at some point. I need a waifu in this game who doesn't freakin' die and teaching a robot how to feel is just my kinda thing!

I was hoping to see more info about Omega’s backstory. But this was still enjoyable to watch. There’s so much we don’t fully understand yet. Like the flight from the Dragonstar after the attack by the omicrons, or the alternate “8th Umbral Calamity” timeline where the Omega replica chronicles the last years of Cid’s life working towards the plan to rewrite history.
At first, I really, really didn't like Alpha, but this story did a wonderful job of getting me to care about our little buddy and presenting him as a credible character. The fact that they acknowledged that he looked like a toy rather than a real chocobo definitely helped :P
Cid and Nero have such a complex and polarizing bromance
It's funny how they act like they can't stand each other yet they're clearly best friends. It'd made even more clear in some of the Lodestone stories

Once Nero left Garlemald he basically just stuck around to tick Cid off. And what group of friends don't get a kick out of annoying each other?
What Nero has with Cid is what I picture Zenos wanted with the WoL. Zenos' problem is that he's ALWAYS antagonistic, and while Nero may be annoying sometimes he does genuinely try to help us/Cid out.
Zenos was that awkward guy who wanted a friend, found a kindred spirit, and instead of saying "hey do you wanna train together." He was like "dude, you're the only person I ever met who I can relate to so the best way for us to bond is by killing each other."
It’s criminal that we don’t have both of omega’s hairstyles in game yet.

I guess Yoshi-P wanted to avoid having players fight the protagonists of other Final Fantasy games, cuz then it might contradict future crossover events

If Omega can create sentient life maybe then in theory, the ancients could’ve used it to repopulate even though their primary goal was to restore the people who had consensually forfeited their lives to summon Zodiark.
The way it created life was flawed, similar to how Emet-Selch recreated Amaurot. The people are only husks of their former selves. This whole story was basically showing that Omega didn't understand mortal life and shouldn't have been creating it in the first place.
omega didint create anything everything in the raid is a simulation except omega himself
