    My favorite car ever (no joke). I have 2 of them. One 1.8 Twin Spark and a 2.5 and I'm fighting to keep both on the road. Such a fun driving experience.

      ..is it a reliable car now ? How much is the consomption / 100 km ?

    • @Art_Vandelay_Industries

      @@j-mharari3374 well it's a 20 year old car with a scarce supply market. So i'm not going to lie, if something breaks, which it will, it is quite a hassle to get it fixed and find replacement parts. The twin spark has been quite reliable, but it pretty much needs a completely new suspension and is currently in storage until i find time to get it right again. The v6 has given me quite a lot of trouble recently. It was in and out of mechanic shops in the last 5-6 months, getting a new cam belt, alternator and we were chasing an electrical bug in the air bag system. It is driving now but i'm not as confident in the car as I'm in the 4 cylinder model.
      The consumption is a little higher than other engines of that period of similar size.
      The 1.8 ts sits around 6-7l/100km and the 2.5 v6 around 8.5-12l/100km.

      @@j-mharari3374The consumption of the 2.5 should be around 20l per 100km in thr city. My friend has 2.0 jts and it's 14-16l per 100km in the city... If you consider buying 2.5v6, forget about fuel economy. I see one in my country, currently selling for 3000 euros with leather enterior, heated seats and sunroof. I think it's worth it.

    great car indeed. what about the comfort? the interior noise seems a bit too much but you can never tell it from the video.

    • @Auto_Lore
      @Auto_Lore  3 роки тому +8

      I would say the comfort in the Alfa Romeo 156 is moderate, but as you pointed out it is difficult to assess that from the video alone - the microphone is very sensitive and picks up excessive road noise even in well-isolated cars. My car also has firmer suspension and an aftermarket exhaust, which does sacrifice some comfort as you can hear exhaust drone on the highway and so forth.
      With this being said, the interior is a nice place to be and the leather seats are really comfortable. The car is well put together and considered premium in my opinion.
      Thank you for watching!

    • @NG94
      @NG94 Рік тому

      Hola buenas Sebas ! No … el motor V6 a 90 grados no es el
      busso , el último Alfa Romeo en montar el V6 busso fue el GT , con el 3.2 heredado de los GTA , en los Brera y 159 ya montaban un V6 de origen Holden Australiano , y en el Giulia de origen Ferrari

    Umm... call me stupid but didnt the front passenger have an airbag which ”plastic cover” (I dont know its english name😅) always ripped off from its corners? My 1998 156 has that so... is this 156 from 1997?

    • @Auto_Lore
      @Auto_Lore  3 роки тому +4

      This is a good question! The front passenger airbag did not come as standard in the early 156s, you actually had to buy it as an optional extra - certainly different times. For this reason mine does not have one despite being a 1999 model. The first owner who bought this car back in the day clearly had other priorities - leather and wood trim before passenger safety haha.

    • @veedoofthedum
      @veedoofthedum 3 роки тому +3

      @@Auto_Lore but its much better looking without it😂 and has no hastle couse you dont have to try to fix it somehow😅 and wasnt wood/leather trim just sport 2 pack (unofficially called lusso) if I remember correctly?

    • @Auto_Lore
      @Auto_Lore  3 роки тому +3

      @@veedoofthedum Haha, you do make a good point. The dashboard does indeed look more flowing without it and you have one fewer airbag to worry about breaking - even having one feels too much sometimes on an Alfa.
      I think you are right, the Lusso pack included the wood steering wheel and gear knob along with the leather interior.

    Detesto ese estilo de confuccion en la calle, que necesidad tenemos de estar a cada 30 segundos subiendo y bajando marchas? O sea en una zona de maximo 60 o 80, estar entre 3era y 4ta? dejalo en 4ta y ya, hay que es una curva y luego subida, no el bobo frena, baja la marcha, ya en 10 segundos la sube y 30 segundos despues repite.... Literalmente es un gasta piezas, acortando la vida al embreague, gastando combustible inecesario
    Al saber que es V6 a gasolina , yo tengo el alfa romeo 156, motor 1.9 diesel, tiene 350 mil km
