This guy is everywhere when it comes time to promote the game, but once the game is actually out, he goes radio silent & refuses to address complaints. In fact, the developer San Diego Studios has made it nearly impossible to communicate with them.
He goes on "Vacation" after the game releases.

u have to remember that san diego studios isnt a huge company. they have to focus on roster updates, new cards, and new events. there is no time for them to patch up complaints EVERY SINGLE PERSON HAS.

I remember that. Plus in RTTS they had challenges pop up before you went to bat. Now they're bringing that back as a "new" feature this year

Slowing the plays down isn’t really helping you guys. You can really see the weird glitches and movements that happens that should be fixed.
Ps5 can't come soon enough. Every sports game released this generation looks exactly the same year after year. I want to see how the NBA 2k's and the MLB the Show's look like when the next consoles come out.

Not much different that's one reason why PS5 is taking it's time coming. The jump from PS Pro is going to be way smaller than what ps3 to ps4 was techwise. Yearly sports titles won't change much while in the same engine as well.The best bet is to compare the first with the most recent especially as they normally work in multiple year plans. TBF to SDS they have done some decent work this generation graphical wise in the engine and arguably more than EA and 2k such as local,material and reflection lighting, realistic eyes, grass tech, skin and hair textures.

I guess I'm just eager on how the next generation of consoles look like when it comes to sports games. I bought MLB the show eversince 07 Literally, I think I'ma wait for a price job for this year's iteration.

I like vasgersian. Just because he’s been the same commentator isn’t an insult. Not to mention the fact they’ve gone through numerous other commentators that are with him.
Chance Pumpernickel but it’s the same sound it’s repetitive. Matt vasgersian saying the exact same lines he said ten years ago that is insulting they need to change that up, nba and madden changed their commentators including the main one. There is no reason Matt is still the main commentator 15 years in a row

Footwork when fielders move to left or right to field ball look super janky. When the fielding animation starts it resets their feet. After so many years youd figure this is soemthing they would have figured out.
5:06 this animation has been in the game since mlb 2007 ps!!!

NO NO NO. dont make the cpu do everything for us. if we want to do a quick throw, let us press or hold a button to do that. have the cpu do everything is BORING.
I'm order to do that you can't use Button accuracy which means RNG errors.

Why wouldnt you be able to do button accuracy? It could be like holding R1 and then throw to the base for a quick throw
Cool slideshow of frames. Was that 24fps for a 2019 game? Sold for $60? 😮 Ouch.
People are complaining about laggy animations, but, honestly, I think you're being a little too demanding. Those times when the player drags their feet into an animation are only visible in slow mo close cameras. Otherwise, in the game itself you wouldn't even see it, therefore, in my opinion, it's not something they really need to fix, since it's not noticeable
I like how most of the comments are I’m not gonna buy it ever again or it looks the sane when it’s not even out yet n there’s still a month away from release date. I’m still gonna buy it I’m not to picky when it comes to stuff people are complaining about, I still enjoy it n that’s what matters

The uniforms are still an issue. Not every player wears their uniform perfectly buttoned up and tucked in. Cespedes, Sabathia, etc.
Is it gonna be in 4k hdr?
The only thing that throws me off when replayed in regular time, is the lack of “weight.” The base runners look weird running, like they’re weightless with every step in their stride. Maybe they’ll work on that type of physics for the next gen. I know that’s picky, but the running animation, field running and base running, throws me off.
Matt Chapman had a great year on defense, Arenado has had a lot of great years on defense. Anyway, with auto fielding On, CPU 3rd basemen like Andujar will make plays like Chapman, and User 3rd baseman like Arenado will perform like Andujar.
Stop screwing us over on the pack openings this year! My friends and I went from getting a few Golds, maybe a couple Diamond players, to nothing but Common and Bronze for the past 2 years. I'm not shelling out cash like its NBA 2K.
What makes it even worse is all those douchebag UA-cam guys always seem to have stacked packs, pulling Diamonds left and right. Such a coincidence

I’m going to wait until after release day to see if 19 is a satisfying upgrade over previous entries.
Have they done anything to address the fact that when the computer tries a sac bunt, I can easily use my 1B to nail the runner heading for second?
I bought MLB 18 last year, my first MLB ever. I bought it because the career mode looked nice and detailed. Little did I know that it's really shallow and boring.

Bx DuBs LOL......I initially was going to wait for PS5 for my next MLB purchase but I seen where there were more animations and camera scenes between pitches along with more fluid looking computer fielding I went for it. I play with fielding and baserunning on auto with no strikezone and classic hitting and pitching so that you get a nice clear view. You see in real life if you're hitting you have no control over the runner or runners on base or if you are pitching you cant play defense for your teammates so all I do is hit and pitch and pinch hit and make pitching changes. Also I am not an online gamer
Anybody else notice in last year’s game the difficulty tagging guys out at home plate? Like the ball would beat the runner there but the runner would do that weird little swim move and be safe every time.
Not impressed in the slightest, looks the exact same as every other Show game. I will not be buying this game, I have ‘18 which is the exact same thing since I don’t play online. Why can’t you guys actually make significant progress to the game? I’m not spending my $60 hard earned cash on something that is basically a roster update with a few new unnoticeable animations

Are there better cameras for player lock defense?...........they need to be more zoomed in for infielders at least and even just give the options for using any camera really.....would also like to see a ‘hitter’ mode where you can play as just hitters on both teams.....i know that sounds weird but i think that would be a popular feature in both this game and madden if implemented......we have a lot of split personalities in this world and being able to play a game against yourself is one of the most thrilling forms of competiotion for people such as this!......i do not joke, i sometimes play maddn with two controllers and have a player locked on each side in franchise and it is great, just great......the best battle ever was brady versus manning and manning won, thus saving tye videogame universe frim endless tom brady superbowl victories......the best part about videogames is the games aren’t fixed, except for the cpu cheating

Is it too much to ask for player collisions?! Last year was my first time playing and I thought it was great except I absolutely hate how players pass through each others bodies as if they are ghosts instead of causing a collision...ridiculous!
This game will depend on one thing and one thing only for me...the hitting. 17 was ok, 18 was just awful. Hes saying all the right things, but if youve followed this game you know he always does and it usually doesnt matter. Ima pick up up on release day, but my patience will be much, much lower than last year when i made it to June before i got rid of the game. Make the hitting fun and the fun players attainable and ill spend i fortune on micro-transactions. Everybody wins. Its not a difficult concept. (as long as i dont have to buy 400 hats to get one player. in that case, im gone)

I mean at this point, it's the same game each year. They are the only one in the market so they have gotten lazy. Basically same animations for 5 years now and stadium graphics have not been upgraded much at all. I mean, it's just a joke at this point. And like the gentleman below me stated, the promote the game hardcore and then this guy just disappears. It's the same tactic every year. It's the SAME DAMN GAME folks. Just minor graphics tweaks and updated rosters.
Small thing I noticed every year, MLB only has a few ads in the ballpark, like topps, nike, and fanatics, which makes the park look dull. Then they got THE SHOW and MLB 19 everywhere. They gotta have more ads like they do in NHL, NASCAR, and Madden to help make the parks look more real.
i’ll take fake ads tbh. theyre better than real ads anyway because ads are just ads

Diving with a 3basemen is one of the hardest plays in the game but I don't mind. Do they mean it's gonna automatically dive for us?

When is MVP Baseball coming back?
NativeMotion - mvp baseball did have franchise mode, and it did have tiger stadium in their classic ballpark, so i wanna see mvp baseball come back. They also had john miller & joe morgan calling the game. On retractable roof stadiuns, it showed it opening n closing

so all theyve added are more animations for the better fielders.... they really like to blow things out of proportion than what they actually are don't they
I have been a loyal fan for years. I buy this game every year. But not caring about franchise mode just because it doesn't make you extra money? I'll be skipping each one until they do something about it.
It feels like they spent the whole year on defense, something that didnt need the whole year to be worked on
