Juice being humble saying he isn't an expert. 😎 Very much needed video to the hobby. Some just assume everyone knows all these little details, but they would be surprised how many don't.
Juice what an awesome video. Appreciate all the information. Im a big community guy. I'm all over making deals with members in UA-cam and discord along with your auctions. I've told you before that grading has never been my determining factor when buying a card but I have to agree I do love the feel and security a graded card comes with. You are slowly turning me into a grader lol. Thanks for the vid my man!
One thing to mention is that PSA has a higher ceiling for value, sure. But SGC has a 9.5 before the 9 that gives a higher floor, if you’re flipping cards. So there’s so math to think thru for each card. 👍
What do u think is the dollar amount u would grade a card? If I have a card that could grade a 10 what is the amount that u would want to grade it, is it $30, $40 or a lot more to make a profit? I want to grade some of my cards but not sure what to send because like u said if it grades a 9 some raw cards are selling for more than a graded 9
Great question. I try and look at it like this: Raw value of the card + Grading fee = total value after grading. If that total after grading is at minimum a 40-50% increase I am doing it. Unless I have to submit a lot of cards to get that bulk discount. then I might drop that percentage when it comes to super popular players.
Juice, did you grade that Devin Booker yourself? Wondering how to send in thick cards. It doesn't seem like thick cards should go in a card saver. Thanks
I didn't I did pay for that one. I should of mentioned it in the video but you can send thick cards in a mag or top loader. You can check psa's website for sure tho.
I need to just take the plunge and send in my medium value cards for grading. I’ve seen psa 10s go for double what I sell raw. Just never really had experience and have heard of PSA or USPS losing packages
You left out upcharging and membership by psa. And how every card grading service is subjective and not consistent with grades when comparing companies pricing difference is because of psa followers in the hobby chasing money trends , if any other company was garnering higher value they would be the choice to grade with. I've graded with sgc, psa, csg, hga and beckett and next will be tag to compare. My advice to new graders if the card is raw pc collectible and never selling it one touch and sticker seal it. High value raw cards same deal only use one touch sleeve to seal it and sell or trade for what you like and collect period . After all thats what collecting is after all. Let the person getting it from you go thru work and take the chance of grading and so on profits. Any autos or game worn or low number pc and use for trade of teams or players you collect but always get equal value to swap them out. KEEP EM RAW AND COLLECT YOUR STUFF YOU LIKE- E.O.S.

That is a really good point to consider!
These things seem so simple once you have been in the hobby for a bit. I wish I had known this information a few years ago. Thanks Juice!
Thanks for the knowledge Juice! 🙏😇
Glad to help, brother!
Great work juice thanks
Thank you!
Maybe a dumb question but does psa always put the plastic sleeves on the slabs when they ship them to you?
No, only on the newer thick cases that I've seen.
@@LootboxTVreviews thanks!
Great video. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
I know you think I dog you sometimes but this is good content, keep it going.
I appreciate it! I know you are just messing! KEEP COLLECTING!
I love grading! Its like a 50% chance to Make money, or break even!
100%

With GAI group submitting. Do I have to list every card I send in on the submission form? Thanks. Enjoyed the video.
Yes you do! It helps keep things in order.

I get that fear, I am not going to say it never happens but I can tell you "Knock on wood" I haven't had a issue. Scares for sure.
Just what I needed! I think I’m going to grade some Jayden’s, on has a little corner issue, should I grade it?
No
I wouldn't grade it if you see issues.
Seems like 9's are selling for raw price. The market is weird right now. PSA sells the best in my world.
Yeah! It's nuts
If I had to make a video on this topic #LOCKSTEP 💪
Thank you!
Thank you
No problem, glad you enjoyed it!

Appreciate the tips and insight!
I always thought the inserts should be worth more becuse there is less of them
Do not grade dont fall for the trap its overated and hurts value
