372nd Quartermaster Battlion

This past weekend Col. Seth Pedersen, commander of the 77th Quartermaster Group (El Paso, Tx.), presided over a change-of-command ceremony for the 372nd Quartermaster Battalion (Albuquerque, NM) at Hardin Field, Kirtland Air Force Base.
The change-of-command ceremony is a tradition rich in symbolism and heritage. The outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Scott Grimes symbolically relinquished responsibility and authority for the company by passing the company colors to Col. Pedersen.
Col. Pedersen then passed the BN colors to the incoming commander, Lt. Col. Christopher Sanders, transitioning to new leadership for the battalion.
LT. Col. Grimes has completed his tenure as the commander of the battalion. Lt. Col. Grimes was recognized by Col. Pedersen for his hard work and contributions to the unit during the ceremony at Hardin Field, Kirtland Air Force Base.
Grimes' follow on assignment will be with the 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command in Marysville, Washington.
