A lot of people don't like these, but I think this is not a bad product.
It's a bit of a gamble, but overall I'd say the content is fair, especially since they seem to have improved the custom packs.

Glad you’re back. Love the channel and I think it helps the marvel community. I really enjoy your 90s box breaks but they are getting expensive and come bricked a lot. "collecting fatigue" = search results and promos are 99% home shopping network channels, and speculative hype that supports selling their surpluses, as they are setup having their trust funds, or some family business, and of course the payola services like youtube, whatnot, and instagram to carry them, while the rest of us poor pretend we matter. Dont those cards look like they are a bit tinier than other card sets, or no? The quality of images is okay -is the data on the back of those things ever meant to be read? So, that Black Panther sketch is original artwork, on that card, no other copy? If so, then nice find! Nice to see a vid from ya. That Marvel Super Hero Secret Wars 1 is cool, the info on the back of it looks like it would help out fans new to the hobby.

The cards are all regular size. The backs of some cards have really interesting informations on them. although i have to admit I rarely read them. As kids we used the cards with power grids on them to play them against erach other. The Black Panther and the Winter Soldier are original artist sketch cards.
I really like the Black Panther, probably the best sketch I've pulled from these mystey boxes!
I never understood why would they act like an unfinished sketch was something we want it as if they never finished the job and charged us extra also why are random $0.10 cards from 20 years ago in there
Well, a sketch is usually something quick and unfinished, so I would argue that modern sketch cards aren't even sketches anymore. As for the random cheap old cards, It's a mystery pack so of course there is going to be some garbage filler in there.
Overal I was happy with the content from the pack.

Where do you get all your marvel cards from like the 90s ones
I bought most of the old boxes from ebay, but it's been a while!
I doubt spider man metal releases in June, likely July or August now. They definitely improved the random packs in these… I felt ripped off by Dacard on some of mine. But then again dave and adams rips everyone off.
Hey man! You really think it's going to be delayed again? Then it would be almost a year since it's originally scheduled release and they keep jacking up the prices for the preorder.

Missed your content! Hopefully more coming. I assume the absurd prices and quality on the new stuff has doused your interest, which is unfortunate, but looks like a huge correction happening which should stick with all the crypto money getting creamed.
Yeah, the current prices are definitely a downer for me and added to my "collecting fatigue".
I was expecting this to happen to the old boxes, but the prices for new product are killing Marvel card collecting as a hobby when it was finally getting some attention imo.

I figured upper deck paid you to stop making videos because of your honest call-outs about some of the marvel crap they put out relative to the price. If they want to keep making that marvel annual garbage they should start selling direct to consumers and skip the dave and adam's blood sucking leaches.

I took some time off to consider their offer but then tought I keep it real and declined.

I thought it's mostly Upper Deck. It's getting really ridiculous now. pre-orders for Spider-Man Metal went from 250 to 350 and now suddenly they're at 590!
@@randomcollector2353 Totally. About the spider metal prices. So I think that is an example of D and A jacking up prices out of greed. At that point I think it is out of upper decks hands. UD could press their opinion on the matter and reign in the distributors I feel. Needless to say I'm not buying spider metal boxes nor even the avengers boxes which also are outrageous. Ah okay, I always thought they were mostly both taking their share with Upper Deck having more control over the pricing. I've preordered 1 box of Spider-Man last year and that's going to be it and FU Avengers I'll probably avoid since I'm not willing to pay 300+ bucks on them.
