Shelves, shadow boxes, tall tiered shelves that you can put knick knacks on, fish clocks, we made a couple swan planters and our bed he never got to finish. I used to help. I sanded by hand and helped stain. I still have all his sand paper and all of his work. When he would select his wood he said it talked to him. I guess that meant by the look and feel.
I've seen western reproductions of this style but never a master craftsman, and the work is absolutely beautiful. You can really tell that this skill was developed over a lifetime, something no reproduction will ever achieve in my opinion.
