Band Geeks is arguably the best episode of SpongeBob SquarePants where Squidward is the main character.
I loved classic episodes of Tom and Jerry and Spongebob when Tom and Squidward would win. Those episodes were always fulfilling enough to feel good inside because the other side "always wins" on the regular.

The scene of Patrick pulling Spongebob's tongue thinking he's the Secret Box is actually clever...because Patrick is actually miming out pulling the Secret string to open the Secret compartment.
I always loved that detail

Band Geeks is an entire episode that builds up to one awesome punchline.
In 2019 after the creator of Spongebob Stephan Hillenburg passed away the NFL was hinting that they were going to play "Sweet Victory" during the Super Bowl halftime, by posting Spongebob related stuff on the Super Bowl's social media pages. Many Spongebob fans watched that Super Bowl and were somewhat outraged when they used literally like 5-10 seconds as a way to introduce Maroon 5. Finally this past Super Bowl Nickelodeon had their own special coverage for the game and they started their coverage with "Sweet Victory" in full.

I like how we go from a bottle episode to an episode featuring basically every semi-notable character.
The band episode is probably the greatest SpongeBob episode ever made, and one of the few times Squidward got a real win!

The embarrassing snapshot was revealed in some Claymation crossover promos that were playing on Nickelodeon around the time. SpongeBob accidentally slipped and fell in an oil puddle left behind by Goddard the Robot Dog, making it look like he’d shat his pants.
