another gem from Arden Wilken, which later had a few CD reissues in Italy and Spain where it has separate tracks with names which aren't present here on the cassette. i have CD as well, but (as usual) love the cassette version much more. it's a bit raw sounding, warmly saturated and as fleeting as the peaceful summer day. i can't even capture what exactly makes it so appealing but since i discovered Wilken's music i have become a huge fan. it's gentle and elusive, yet distinctively present, transforming the air into something more than just air... no sharp edges, no dramatics, only a pure serene joy of being here and now, breathing and sensing the world.
