These fellows of course are from the midland Leitrim/Longford aesthetic tradition ..where MUSIC counted...problem was it was not easy to be good at it and any old way was not good enough! We are ambassadors for the music.... not what a great player am I , rather what wonderful music this is!
If he is playing old-style press/draw ("on the press") it would _likely_ be a Bb/B as you say. If he were playing modern ("on the draw") style like a B/C, then it would be an A/Bb. Looks like he's playing old-style. So, Bb/B. I'm sure he got the box re-reeded.
