@@natesrtDid the new supercharger still have oil already in it? Also the coolant cross over pipes, did you use the ones from your original s/c to put on the "trx" s/c?
He said they've replaced bearings on the earlier years just to have them fail again so he came to the conclusion there was some casting issue leading to the bearings failing prematurely. The take off replacement supercharger cost me about the same as the bearing job would have cost with the added bonus that the car was down for less time so I didn't press on the bearing replacement more.

Nate can u send me the information or phone no on where u bought the supercharger I'm Scott from Massachusetts I messaged u last year I have the same noise from my supercharger I own the exact car as u b5 blue what's happening now is when I get on the hi way and I get on it I get a bad oscillating noise its defiantly the supercharger
Hey Scott, the link to his eBay store is in the description on this video. You'll see the supercharger listing right there. He's pretty responsive during the week so ask him any questions you have. The shipping is by freight so check with him on the cost for that. It's a lot cheaper to ship to a business address so if you can do that you'll save a bunch. It comes on a pallet but the box is from a Magnusson unit so if you toss the pallet, the box will fit in the back of an SUV easy. The unit I ended up installing seemed very clean inside so it didn't look like it had a lot of miles just like he said. If you have a friend to help you it's totally doable DIY. Having another set of hands to remove/install and also for the belt tensioners is very helpful. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!
