17:30 I think someone said Jayce was able to kick Heimerdinger out because he made those deals and was valuable with the Hexgates… so corruption, Heimerdinger probably held the other council members back when it came to decisions that would get them more money? Anyways, great thoughts :D
Hmm, I hadn’t thought about how Heimerdinger was holding back the council’s corruption, and that makes sense-so I understand why they wanted to 'get rid of him'. But I still don’t get how Jayce ends up with so much power when they barely wanted him on the council in the first place. But then again, there are plenty of things in the world that don’t make sense to me, and they happen anyway.
@ Yeah it was rushed.. I think they wanted the "Hextech Partner" sponsors to be the explanation for the bias towards Jayce, but it was only one scene in the opera and I agree that it's so silly to vote the immortal Yordle out?? Do they have a brain? 😂 Anyways.. have fun with the last episode, it's very artistic 🥰 Hope you have a good weekend
When the walls come tumbling down is a biblical reference about the destruction of Jericho. According to the Bible, the Israelites marched around the city for six days, on the seventh day they marched around it seven times, the priests blew their horns, and the walls came tumbling down. There are many songs, movies, and cultural references that reference the phrase. The most popular song is probably the one by John Mellencamp. The Style Council also referenced the phrase in one of their songs.
I've had the song 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' stuck in my head lately, so that's the one I though of. As for the biblical reference-all of my Bible study has been in Portuguese, and the translations aren’t always direct. They even ‘translate’ names, so a lot of Bible references in TV shows and movies go right over my head. Thank you for explaining it!
