You did ask about the possibility of people being stuck in a dungeon. Now you know! Wild how they called the strongest Korean hunter they knew in America to translate/evaluate the threat, when that one specific guy already had a beef with Jinwoo, right? Man, Dongsoo is such a pathetic bully. I wonder if he ever gets a moment of triumph, or if he gets his face stomped into the mud repeatedly for his trouble. I wonder... It's worth remembering that the authorities looking for Jinwoo have ZERO way of knowing about instance dungeons. No one knows they exist. As far as they can tell, he was in the middle of the city, then dropped off the face of the Earth, and not into a Gate. (The secret of instance dungeons is so wild, too... Man, I wish I knew more manhwa readers to talk about this without spoiling.) Junho being a bro is such a nice thing to see, since he's the first real friend Jinwoo has who respects him. There were some characters in early season 1 who LOOKED AFTER him out of concern, and even when Jinah visited him in the hospital, she acted concerned, but also put out by his weakness. Junho tried to take Jinwoo under his wing at first, but it was more as a junior colleague than a burden, and Junho was also the first guy to see Jinwoo's ascending glory and survive. Wanting to be Jinwoo's family rather than the family he's got, that's huge. Keep an eye on the evolving storyline of Junho trying to gain control of his family's guild. It's not one to sleep on.
It’s WILD that it was Jinwoo’s dad who got stuck in a dungeon for 10 years! I didn’t expect them to drop this on us so soon after what you teased in the comments of the last video! I really hope Dongsoo gets his ass handed to him-he totally deserves it! 😂 I’m super curious about what kind of guy Il-Hwan is going to turn out to be! He’s obviously crazy strong but is he going to be a huge problem! Oh, right! I forgot that was an instance dungeon Jinwoo entered! That explains why they’re having so much trouble tracking him down. I wish I could read the manhwa too or knew more people to send your way so you’d have more folks to chat with about the ins and outs of this series. But I really appreciate the effort you’re making to avoid spoiling anything for me-Thank you! It’s awesome to see Junho get the opportunity to lead the guild! Hopefully, things don’t go sideways, and of course, he has to talk Jinwoo into joining… right?! I did feel a little bad for Junho, though. Now that Jinwoo is so much more powerful, he feels like he isn’t needed as much anymore. Everything comes out when you’re drunk, huh? 😂😂😂 I’m glad they’re like brothers now for all the right reasons, but it does scare me a bit. I have a feeling that later, when Junho is super close to his final goal and their relationship is at its peak, something terrible will happen to him-maybe he’ll even get killed off! Some serious JJK vibes! 😂😂 Im most likely way off though!
@@DarkAnimeCorner Now that you know his dad was a primo badass, how much sense does it make that our boi was dead set on making it as a Hunter, despite having basically zero power? Think about Dongsoo's appearance in Korea, too - Baek wasn't willing to risk taking on Dongsoo, because a fight between two S-ranks is a catastrophe, but Il-Hwan flattened Dongsoo with a quickness, which limited damage. How strong IS Il-Hwan? Worth thinking about the fact that, even after being stuck in a Gate for ten years, Il-Hwan knocked out Hunters, rather than kill them. And sat patiently in handcuffs when he clearly didn't have to, until he was attacked. Should we be assuming that Il-Hwan is a problem? Maybe he will, maybe he won't - but it's worth considering that this might be simple(ish) good news. We know the American authorities aren't going to be delighted, having him around, when their only source of information on him is Dongsoo. I'd feel more sorry for Junho if he had more pride as a hunter, but let's be honest - as a hunter, he's a glorified rack for fancy gear, and he seems okay with that. His heart is more in guild leadership. Jinwoo making him as redundant as the crew they had sitting outside was inevitable, but it doesn't seem particularly unwelcome. You've got good instincts - getting closer to Jinwoo while Jinwoo accumulates enemies is a great way to make the both of them vulnerable. Now, how will that play out?
So many things to consider and think about! Damn, dude, my mind is mush right now! I’ll be rewatching so I can try to catch more details! Il-Hwan has to be ridiculously strong! I can’t remember if I said this in the video or not, but I’m thinking he’s also leveling up! I really hope there’s a story episode about his past, how he got trapped, and what he went through. I still have a gut feeling Il-Hwan will be a problem! Even though he’s coming off as a “cooperative” guy, something about him just doesn’t sit right. A lot can happen in ten years of isolation. Maybe this is all just for show, and he’s the one who ends up causing the catastrophic event in the future! That’s where my brain is at! 😂😂😂 Probably wrong, but I’m excited to see what happens! I know it’s probably frustrating for you not being able to just tell me what’s about to happen and what’s going on. I love these comments, dude-they really get the thinker going! 😂😂😂
@@DarkAnimeCorner It's so much fun trying to figure out exactly how to phrase it to build maximum hype. There's so much going on in the background that I can't even hint at yet, because the underlying fabric isn't there, and won't be until AT LEAST late season 3. We're going to have to put a pin in all this, though, because most of the stuff we're talking about is on a slow burn. I'm not 100% on what the next episode is, but if it's what I think it is... well, it's a good thing our boi has been grinding away at dozens of jumbo-sized floors of a mega-dungeon.
Season 3!!!! Damn! You’re doing a really good job of keeping the hype at maximum! GOD, next Saturday can’t come soon enough! I always love that drop of one last hint for the next episode! I’m sooooo f**kin’ excited now!😂😂😂
