I definitely buy out of season, even for myself. Great insights! I purchase 90 percent of our clothes second hand and use goodwill, Poshmark, and eBay.

I am new to your channel. I found you because of your grocery hauls, but I love your content. I am currently binge watching your channel while I clean and organize my pantry. You have the most beautiful smile sister. Thank you for sharing this video. We buy new and second hand clothes for our kids (our daughter is about to be 16 and son is 13). Neither of them mind second hand clothes, in fact my daughter loves thrifting.

I always tried to buy off season. January I would buy next years winter clothes by buying a size larger. Of course occasionally they jumped 2 sizes....argh!

We have seasonal consignment sales and I love them because I can find all my sons stuff for only a few dollars each. My son has so many shirts because those tend to fit longer then pants. I usually buy a size ahead because he has zero interest in shopping and just wants them to appear . The pandemic has stopped many of them so we don’t have the next size so I will soon have to do this too.

That is so fantastic! A great price and gets all your shopping done at once!❤️ We used to live near a second-hand store that would have a $3-a-bag-full of clothes sale every 6 months to clear inventory. I miss that store.

Nice job - you found some good sales. Now, what do you do about kids' shoes? Those can be an expense too, and they can outgrow shoes at a different time/pace than their clothes (if I'm remembering correctly - my "child" is 21 now!)?

Great question! We still do the hand-me-down method so we buy more expensive shoes (usually Nike) so they'll last through many kids. Otherwise we'll look second-hand or for sales. Quality kids winter boots (Sorels or Kamik) can be found on consignment for 1/4 the price.❤️Great question! Thank you for your comment!

Its funny how most boys and men hate clothes shopping haha when I went to the shops with my nephews they couldn't wait to leave hahaa its like the hate is built into them from birth or something haha. Men and boys only seem to like shopping when its for games, electricals or cars xD
