Yeah, 1 of each isn't bad! If you take a symbol early, you definitely want to try for at least one of each, or three of a kind to make it a reasonable amount of points.
We did misspeak here, as the total should be 26, not 32. You get 7 points for each set, and you get exponential points for the number of each symbol you have, so 2*2*3, 2 points for 2 of the same symbols for 3 different kinds, equals 12 points added to the 14 totals 26.
This is a pretty noob technic and it also depends on the number of players. The more players there are the more science is good. It’s the way around for military.
My friends are watching how to play. I am watching how to win. We are not the same
1:53: As far as I'm aware, 2 sets of each science card gives 26 points, not 32 (7+7+4+4+4). Have I been doing the maths wrong?
No, you're right, it would be 26 points. That was a mistake on our part.
StrataGames Ah, OK. Thanks!
@@StrataGames i believe you are supposed to score an additional 1 pt for each card thus making it 32?
Paused the video just to make sure I wasn't crazy. 26 is right. Not 32
@@JoshVin i see :)
What you think of just having 1 science building of each symbol? That's 10 points for 3 cards that also build into other things, seems pretty decent.

1:08 Is where I messed up last time I played...
At least you'll know what to do next time!
Love the wooden background!
When I used to play in a trio, always have chosen the war paths and won.
i mean, misleading af title. There was no info on "win everytime" lol
Thank you for this =)
Wait, how is 2 of each technology symbols 32 points? In my game's rulebook one of each symbol is 7 points so 2*3 equals 14 points, not 32.

@@StrataGames yes, thank you!
yoo thanks for the help!
How did you get 32 points from those science cards?
You got
4 + 4 + 4 + 7 + 7 = 26 no?
While science may be our strong suit, math clearly isn't.
@@StrataGames hahaha nice xD
I love your videos... keep it up!
Thanks so much!
Nice!
fun fact: the correct time to fully commit to science is always
I love to go for science, but so does everyone else I play with! Makes it hard to get a really good science build.

Can you do monopoly
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll definitely look into making a video about Monopoly.
Most of these tips are complete bs 😂
Hahaha hello there
