I saw a follow up interview on this kid, and he said he didn't mind the kiss, he was just shocked by it because Katy was a stranger. He also has a girlfriend now who said she thinks it was pretty cool that his first kiss was with a celebrity. He also stated that the kiss didn't ruin his experience for kissing his girlfriend for the first time. It was still special.
