I definitely think CBF should be implemented into vanilla GD, I play with the mod and I definitely see a difference in how I play, Rob should definitely implement but DO NOT HARASS HIM TO ADD IT.
This mod been blowing up lately, I personally don’t mind if it won’t get added but the game will be so much better if it gets added since there’s no more fighting over legitimacy
I play on 60fps and use Click Between Frames and I remember hard levels being MUCH harder before I got the mod, now I find levels easier because of the more accurate inputs.
I feel like the mod would be a great addition to the game, making it more accessible to mobile players since thats the majority of the community and we have seen rob code other mods into the game like fps bypass so it shouldn’t be too difficult for him to code in.
8:03 Yes there is a bit of a disadvantage still, but it is only the visual fluidity, that is, you will have the same precision but you still deal with the screen not showing smooth movement
another thing I should add, polling marketing is almost a scam. there are so many 8k boards or 8k mice that are slow as balls, that feel like 500-1k or slower with clicks. there are mice that do subtick clicks say at 1k some mice capable of 8k can send theur click packets at the maximum polling rate while the sensor doesnt overload the cpu with a 1k signal which is great for cpu and battery (assuming wireless). what im saying is that scanning rate is important to know, a lot of keyboards may poll at 8k but do they equally scan the whole keyboard 8k tikes a second? you would assume thats the case but most of them are stuck somewhere between 1-4k, and if its HE, it could be even harder to scan faster almost to the point where you need a USB 3.0 connector to supply the board enough power, the Corsair K70 Max is stikk scanning at 4k with an 8k polling rate with a ton of bloat, so it has like 2ms of device input instead of like some hundred microseconds
I do really think CBF should be coded into the game. It shouldn't be too hard, and I am talking based on experience (I am a moderate game developer.) If Robert is lazy he could even just ask Syzzi for the code (sometimes I just ask mod creators of some of my games if they would accept the honor of implementing their mod into the vanilla version.)

For now it don't has diference because I'm mobile player, but I'll me awesome when implemented to the vanilla gd!

the game will no longer require good hardware if this mod gets added. good hardware is more for enhancing the experience of the game at most now.
