Is she getting treated for pcos? Pcos can trigger and cause diabetes…..so treating the root cause is important, she can first try some lifestyle modifications and diet changes, like avoiding processed food, simple carbs, processed sugar and inculcate exercise and yoga….. if even after altering lifestyle, Her blood sugar levels are high, then she should consider medications for the same.
No both are different…..HbA1c is preferred in type 2 diabetes as it’s a better indicator of chronic hyperglycaemia and long term complications and is less affected by any short term, Stress related changes.
