Anthony lifting more than Joe is becoming a running joke it's hilarious 😂😂
Anthony trolling TF out of Joe😂
5:42 “it said average so maybe it’s average”
Joe’s a genius!!
by the way Joe, i dont think you're the second strongest in the group. Dont forget Nick is also a strength and conditioning coach and trains frequently. I know he mostly rolls around hugging dudes on the mat but I think he's still stronger than you Joe. Okay bye love you guys lol
How tf do you know? Nick would have said something.
Edit: On second thought, he wouldn’t have said anything 😂😂😂
What Walter was talking about sounded really interesting sucks the video ended so soon.
there’s a south korean show, “I Live Alone” (shows insight of various korean celebrities or famous persons that live alone), one of the previous cast members Lee Sieon did that housing program walter was talking, though subtitles didn’t quite give full explanation either. I understood it as part bank part gov endorsed and partnership with some company so their citizens can own family sized homes (i think its to partially help ppl and also subtilely encourage more familes aka make babies). And, it seems to function like a lottery. I could have misunderstood tho
@@divinelymoowah6104 Thanks for the info! Hopefully it becomes a JKN topic soon!
A full episode about this would be interesting. Might look into it myself tbh
“No you can’ttt” 😅
I think the price in the Philippines is a little bit exaggerated for an average 1 bedroom apartment, that $800 price is for renting a condominium unit, apartments in the Philippines is different here in the states, apartments in the Philippines are like townhouses and its cheaper to rent a apartment than to rent a condominium unit, I think average apartment in the capital will cause you $600 thats 2 bedrooms already, you can even rent a whole house with 3 bedrooms on a 130sq meter lot for $600 thats what we do to our house in manila when we migrated here in the americas
Yeah, I think that it is exagerrated or they didn't really do a good survey of all neighborhoods. Or Maybe they included the whole NCR instead of just Manila City. They probably included CBDs like BGC, Ortigas and Makati gated villages. I live in Manila City and our rent is around $260+. That's a 2 bedroom plus parking space.
800 usd for Manila is kinda sus. I mean, the average rent for a good condo is around 15 to 25k php a month so that would be 300 to 600 usd
Hong Kong : somewhere between 0.8-1.5 million usd.
Next best thing to do is mess with Joe about specific topics...
"I can lift more than you"
"Taggers breaking the law with their 'art' "
😂😂
“That’s interesting” immediately gets up
PREMIUM lady boys! 😂😂😂
Okay, Walter! Killing it! Joe and Anthony 😂😂😂!
Jknews at Barbell Brigade Joe versus Anthony🎉😅
JKPARTY??? LETS GOOOOO‼️‼️
Let's do this again and worst guess gets shocked.
Anthony forgot that Joe is Dora the destroyer 😅😅
In the Philippines, you can probably have one for $60/month in southern cities (including Davao city), and as low as $20 in the countryside.
About 5 years ago In Bais, Negros Oriental. I got a 2 bedrooms 1 bath apartment for $65 a month. Dk about now.
In malaysia, the average rent for 1 room is about 200usd. Median isn't the best to see the estimates
Tokyo’s a big city
i think what walter was talking about in korea where you give a lump sum of money to your landlord is called key money(?) and it's basically like a deposit on your apartment/place
Come to Singapore man! 🇸🇬 Will be happy to host!
9:13 is a reel 🤣
Well, in every country, you got CHEAP rent and you also got EXPENSIVE rent. So medium rent isn’t that accurate to know which country is expensive. I am with Bart about Taiwan not being cheap, because I was there and I know some places offer. Around 2k US for rent month and then you get cheap on for $400 a month, but nobody want to live there.
Your source is incorrect for Jakarta. If we talk about Apartment, the average for one bedroom rent should be around $300. Your source probably only averaging rent for mid-upper range one bedroom Apartment.
Most apartments for rent in Indonesia are mid-low class apartment rooms, usually with very minimal furnitures like bed, kitchen set, chair, and tables. It ranged from around $150 - $500, depending how well furnished it is. Something that's on $600 with just one bedroom in Jakarta is definitely an upper class apartment.
If we're talking about guest houses, it can be even cheaper. You can easily find student guest house in Jakarta at $200. Without AC, you can even find them at a lower price, I wouldn't be surprised if there are still $100 guest rooms to be rented. And that's in Jakarta, the most expensive city to live in in Indonesia.
Indonesia is a very cheap place to live in, if your works are paid using international rate. That's why even small UA-camrs that live in Indonesia are pretty much having enough to not be under the poverty line.
Expats specifically American and British who are priced out of living in their own countries or recently retired/ work remotely have drive up the prices up in formerly cheap countries. 2014 , one bedroom in Manila 250-400.
it’s called Jerome’s when you deposit a huge sum 50-80% of the apartment value to lower your rent and you get lower rent and your money back when you leave but if you get unlucky the owner could run away with the deposit
If Steve ever watches this, he is kickin himself because when Anthony said 2nd place NO one said shit! Either forgot the bit or they’re maturing.
I lived in Bangkok recently last year not sure we're there getting these prices from lol average for a very nice apartment off sukhumvit road is probably $400-800 not saying $1000 don't exist but not buying it's over a grand for average
Jk adventure lift contest!!!
Joe also claimed to know so much about motorcycles, then we saw him ride Subins.🙄
Anthony lost his viet card lol
I’m looking thru the comments for China. 1 bedroom apt in Shanghai would be around $1k 😢 and that’s supposed to be considered cheap
It's median lol so that those 1 million places don't skew the results
13:20 key money deposit
Most of these rates are only applicable if you live in the trashy part of the city.. if you wanna live anywhere decent, the rates would be much higher.. And im not even talking about rich part of the city, just an average middle class area.
12:48 I think that's PAWNING. You give money to the landlord, agreed on when will the money be retuned, during that time you can live on the property or rent it out.
I'm paying less than 200 bucks for a 1 bed 1 bath house, gated subdivision that's a 10 minute drive from Iloilo City in the Philippine. It's not a "major city" but it is an economic powerhouse (Which just means it's not a sh*thole like Manila).
@@muddapeople Well the article just says "Major" cities and the title just says apartment costs in Asian countries. Nothing about major cities. A lot of Capitals don't offer the same niceties of living that other cities have and therefore may not fetch as high of an asking price for living spaces.
@@thomaschristopherwhite9043 Ilo Ilo is not a major city. There are only 2 major cities in the Philippines, Manila and Cebu.
@@firespriteearthcrystals The most expensive city in the Philippines to live is not Manila, Cebu, or Iloilo, but Makati City.
@@shogunshogun I don't think so. There are so many Carenderias in Makati that you can buy 10 pesos rice and and 15 pesos monggo.
Im taking Joe to lift way more than anthony
What about Cambodia?
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam😅 lol as if Anthony didn't know.
Happy birthday Ryan
Let’s goooo I said 1215 for Tokyo
walter its called rent deposit.
the michelin star chicken rice is the worst chicken rice in the world.
This is a fun game lol.
JK powerlifting adventure would be a great idea
Im realizing i may not like korean entertainment but their finanical system doh 🤨
1:50 Wrong, Anthony! HANOI is the capital of Vietnam.
❤
😂😅😂😅😂
I feel like the stats being median instead of average skews the numbers so much
"LIKE" if you think JK Olympics should happen!
Final scores:
-- Bart = 2
-- Nick = 1
-- Walter = 3
-- Joe = 3
-- Anthony = 0
These prices are extremely high for countries that aren’t even booming like the USA.
Many of these cities mentioned surprisingly have spots that are better living and shopping conditions than the US. A place like BGC in the Philippines is closer to Singapore in cleanliness, businesses and fine dining.
I'm guessing less than a One bedroom in NYC or all of California.
There’s no way the average rent for 1 bed room in manila is 805 dollars but the average monthly salary is 800 dollars 🥲😂😂
This wrong info
