Its extremely unfair that such a beautiful and touching movie like this one, that leaves you with no words but lots of emotions and thoughts about literally everything, has been so underrated. It deserves lots of awards and success i mean...how this movie can be so ignored by the critics and a lot of people, and films like Twilight can make so many teenage girls cry and fall in love...money is the only reasonable sortie i find because i dont understand then...
Anyway im pretty sure that if this movie comes out today, it will be more popular and people will talk more about it.

Why the hell do you want it to be popular? What's wrong with people? I'm glad that one of my favorite movies is not what everybody in the movies is talking about, cause most of the people have a horrible taste when it comes to stuff like that. They want those cheesy, romantic love stories like the stars in the sky or however it's called.
Slumber! I'm not talking about the audience, i'm talking about the critics. If i consider a movie is worth watching it, i obviously wish it could have the success it deserves, so that people could enjoy it as i do.

I have been watching and rewatching this movie ever since I was a kid. I absolutely love it. The characters feel so raw and real and normal. It's touching and heartbreaking.
You have to watch this a second time. There is so many things you catch that you didnt before. This is one of my favorite movies. I wish there was more to the ending but thats too much to ask for.

the ending was super confusing and i read they assumed keith died. But the airport scene was overall back, especially when he says she is the worst thing that ever happened to him. Was he just trying to push her away, or was he legit?? I know this comment is old, but I'm still curious
Basically before he met Natalie he had come to terms with the fact that he was going to die, because his life wasn't that good anyway but after meeting Natalie he had a reason to want to live. So that's why he said she was the worst thing that ever happened to him. Because she made him want to live but he couldn't because he was dying of cancer.
RPGMaster Right. And, also the scene where she asks him what he's going to do after college abd he says that Sky is the limit. This also refers to his death.

I loved this movie
Love it. One of my favorite movies of all times. Amazing story amazing actors. I don't know how the fault in our stars got famous and this didn't. It's 10 times better. Plus it's got freaking Jesse McCartney in it!!

This movie made me cry, and only two others have made me done that. The way Keith learned to love before he was about to die, and the hardships leading up to that really made the struggle for cancer patients seem real, because you know this type of thing frequently does happen, and how horrible it must be. Great movie.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. Unreal chemistry between the two main characters, superb storytelling and just an overall phenomenal show of acting and emotion. I always go back and watch this film every now and again. Absolutely one of my favourite films of all time.

This is one of the greatest movies I've seen. Even though he has no friends, weird, not the most "attractive" guy, for him he had nothing to lose.
But with his personality he was able to make one of the hottest girl in the school fall for him.

I probably watched this 12 times!! What can I say I'm a sucker for romance dramas and it doesn't help that it is always on the front page of Netflix staring at me all the time! And I gotta say Jesse McCartney surprised me with his amazing acting skill, he was believable thought out the whole thing. I also fell in love with his odd, sarcastic and witty character!
Definitely recommend it but don't watch this trailer it basically gives everything away, it's gonna ruin it for you if you haven't seen it yet!

There’d a lot of symbolism in this movie and the soundtrack to this movie is to die for, especially the song where car is rolling. A symbolism for me is that suitcase is almost like a casket and she’s putting everything that reminds her of Keith in it. With that casket and the fixed truck she’s taking Keith to Ontario and the final scene is her passing the crossroad which was the first scene in the truck.
Just came from Netflix. This movie, without a doubt, touches your heart, I literally teared up at the end, the way he portrays hiself, the optimism, the cleverness, someone with deep emotion, never thinking much of anything, except for what he loves. And how she see's through him, not caring anymore, just to stand by him, skies the limit,
This is the best romantic movie I've ever seen and I'm sure this will be one of the films that I ll never forget till the day I die!

Well, most of the movies available in this genre are romcoms and I don't like them, I like serious romantic movies so that's what i'm going to recommend you.
1. Pride and Prejudice( I'm sure you've heard about it and maybe read the novel but this movies is a must watch as well)
2. Forrest Gump( it's not a typical romantic movie, it's other shades as well)
3. American Beauty(it's not a typical romantic movie as well but still IMDb classifies it as a romance drama)
4. Eternal Sunshine of spotless mind(this movie is amazingly good starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet)
5. The Reader( I don't even remember what happened in this movie as I watched it like 10 years ago but I remember that I liked it very much)
6. The Holiday(don't have much to say about this, it's a good one)
7. The Notebook(this was my favourite romantic movie once but then I watched it again after some years and I realized that it was not as good as i thought it was but it's still worth watching)

Aside from the great storylines/dialogue and incredible acting skils, the innocent looking faces of Elisabeth Harnois (Natalie) and Jesse McCartney (Keith) really made this movie bang on.
I also remind myself that Elisabeth was NEARLY 30 YEARS OLD during this film. Gosh, she was beautiful and looked like she was in his late teenage years 😅

I watched this movie when I was a teen, in my junior year of high school. I love the movie. I just watched it again and it still gets to me.
I can't really accurately describe how much this movie resonated with me. I took away so much from this film. I love the writing and performances from the actors. The soundtrack was fucking incredible. Most of all, I love Keith's outlook on life. He has this strong sense of self.
This was one of the most realistic love stories I've watched. The acting was phenomenal!
This movie is hands down a tear jerker. So amazing and heartfelt. I completely recommend. Not gonna lie was not expecting that. after it was over I just sat there .... keith > the fault in our stars.
Watched this on netflix, was legit going to quit halfway through before things got interesting but glad I continued on to finish it because it is a really good film and made me cry in the end.

I remember renting this a few years after it came out from Family Video. And then I bought it after my first watch. This is my most favorite movie of all time. And the song playing when Natalie gets picked up by Keith after finding out his secret, called “Times Infinity” is by the Mexicolas. The lead singer handwrote the lyrics for me to get tattooed, so amazing & it’s my favorite song ever. This entire movie has an amazing sountrack for 90% of them being lyricless. Can’t believe how underrated this is!
I put off watching this movie for a long time.. watched it July 28th 2015 12:30 am and now watching it again 2:30. (the same night/morning) This movie is my life...

Its so sad though..... it made me cry, and I thought The Fault in our Stars was the only show that made me feel this way, but no. Keith made her fell for him and he knew he would die, I wold just kill myself,.... I'm actually joking but I don't wanna watch Keith again its too much of a sorrowful and heart-rending film. :-(

And the saddest part is, millions of teenagers go through the same things every year; depression, love, heart-ache, loneliness. This movie is amazing. It's now one of my favourite movies of all time, and I'm a hard critic to win over.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time... I have literally watched it over and over again. A lot of people might pre-judge it because it stars Jesse McCartney, but honestly his role in this brilliant. This definitely isn't your typical highschool romance movie, it's a lot deeper than that.
