As a technology professional, creative and Christian the one thing I've appreciated about what you do is the high level of quality in what you produce. Many non-profits spread themselves thin, and when quality suffers their mission suffers. It's important as ambassadors of the gospel we do so with humility, but also recognizing people see us through the lense of a different worldview. One in which has very high expectations. I'm always happy to see you meet that challenge. I pray this next step for you brings more people into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

I'm a software architect and my wife is a freelance UX professional so we love seeing the embrace of technology to spread the gospel!
I was going to comment "FINALLLLYYY" or something to that affect in the main feed. But I read your comment and it is so true. If any of this project had been rushed with ambition it may have lost its impact. Thanks for highlighting the thoughtful and impactful efforts this project has made accessible to so many. I have always written comments and emails to you guys that our son who cannot read because of his cerebral palsy ( HE BENEFITS ) from your videos, he has learned so much from the Bible that he wouldn’t have learn otherwise. As a child I read to him but as he has grown into an adult he no longer wanted me to read but he had the desire to read himself. We bought comic books about the Bible so he could have a visual, but when you did your first videos our daughter showed it to us and we got into them, I would watch them with our son and have conversations about what we just watched. He taught a couple of his uncles about angels because he learned it from your videos. He loves to talk and explain what he has learned from the Bible even though is hard for him to express himself. I can go on and tell you stories of conversations we have had or how he has shared the gospel from all he has learned from the videos. One of the things he wants to do is meet you two guys and shake your hands to thank you for starting the videos, he knows is driven by God. So thank you

Y’all have no idea how much I appreciate you guys. As someone who’s is currently studying software development, I always felt alone in my calling to ministering to people and helping the gospel reach more people via technology. Hearing you guy’s vision for your app makes me emotional in knowing that God is so awesome in giving people such unique callings all to give the glory back to Him. I’ll definitely be praying for you guys and using your obedience as encouragement on my own faith walk!

I don't know your intentions in that aspect, but I do volunteer to translate anything that is needed to portuguese (for free, of course!). The Bible project has enriched my life in many way, I've shown it to my friends too and they say the same thing. This channel brought me closer to my faith.
So in 2021, I read through the four Gospels. I was already planning on reading the Torah & Wisdom literature during 2022, love the fact I can use your new app to help go through my reading plan.

The video about “The New Humanity” has completely changed the way I see the people around me, redefined what it means for me to really love others as genuine brothers and sisters, and given me real hope in Gods plan for the world for the first time in a very long time. Animation is a very special storytelling medium to me, so to have gained those new perspectives (and redefined my imagination) as a result of animation… it’s hard to put my feelings into words. Thank you guys.
I'm looking that one up now. I need God's view on people. After an abusive marriage I have lost something in me for people. I've not wanted to go back to a church to be with Christians again. I listen to church services on line Sundays but I know that fellowship is vital. This is so incredible! I am so excited! I have Tim's teachings on repeat every day. They are unlike anything I've encountered searching for Christ and Tim's sermons have brought me closer to Christ at 35 than I've ever been. The Bible Project have been such a blessing in my life. I can’t thank God enough for blessing us with the Bible project. There are people who are thirsty and have a desire to meditate on the Scripture but don’t know where to begin and how to build the skills needed for it. So thank you for all that you do.

After watching this, it made me see how God has greatly blessed Bible Project beyond expectations and where no one could have ever imagined. I am so happy for you Tim, Jon and the whole team. I thank Jesus for all of you because through your works, I became a recipient of God's grace...not only in understanding the Bible but also through healing. I sent a prayer request to your Praying team few months back due to a medical condition that I struggled for nearly 4 years. Now, I am completely healed after that prayer request. James 5:16 "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." I am literally blown away by your desire not only to teach but also to pray for us who needs help. That's doing work an extra mile. Respect to Bible Project.
I actually just started listening to the podcasts and teachings on UA-cam and the word "hungry" is the perfect description of how I enter into each lesson. I'm so excited for this new platform! Your joy in the Lord is so evident in all the Bible Project does, and it's contagious. I love it! It's helping me fall more in love with Jesus all over again.

I just had one request. Nowadays we have extremes and improper examples of “Christians.” Either those who abuse hellfire preaching and preach hate in Gods name, or those who give into the philosophies of the world that go against Gods ways. Can you guys make a video on this topic? If not, that’s fine. And again, keep up the good work. God bless you all.
Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. There’s got to be one true church otherwise the doctrine isn’t clear. Just my thoughts.
@@reevey I may misinterpret your comment, but I agree that people need to have the one true doctrine of the Bible. A combination of love, but also truth. But many seem to either have love with no truth, or truth with no love. That’s a problem nowadays. That’s why I want them to discuss this issue.
@@reevey - unfortunately this probably won’t happen. And since it isn’t happening, it begs the question, who’s really in charge of it (the church), given that it’s so splintered? One of many reason I walked away. Sorry for the Debbie Downer comment, but UA-cam served this up for me.
This may not be an ok question, but are we worshipping the ‘Bible’ and not the subject of the Bible. I understand we are to grow in knowledge of his word-and I have a hunger to do so, yet all the theological interpretations and differences has brought me an uneasiness and perhaps even confusion. What about all who do not have the Bible, or the capacity or time to do a deep dive study of the word? Sometimes it feels like an intellectual war? Is this pride? SO many questions? My prayer is to never forget the two greatest commandments-love God and love your neighbor. Can only do this by ‘listening’ to the Holy Spirit.
Father help us, lead us ALL into your truth and help us to listen and follow that still small voice into loving you and our neighbor.

@@jld4870 in my view, unfortunately everyone worships the Bible because that’s all one really has. Ok, maybe one’s own inner dialogue as well, but when I asked who I was worshipping and really asked the hard questions - are you actually really there, god?, the answer continues to be a resounded and ante-deafening no.

The classes; podcasts; "word," "theme," and books of the Bible videos; reading plans; and study materials are immeasurably helpful! So excited about the app. 1 year ago I came across your videos. I am dyslexic and don't read many books. I am now halfway through the Bible and a kids youth leader at my church. I discovered the bible project last year when I was looking for a devotional for 2021 on the bible app. I enjoyed the sample and so began an amazing journey.
The illustrations bring the word to life and then makes me go back to look at their scriptures referenced again.
Then I discovered the OT in one year and the NT in one year devotionals and I have to say this is the first time in my adult life I will be using the same devotional back to back.
You guys have a gift and I thank God for the wisdom he has given you to develop it.
Looking forward to more exciting things in 2022.

I can understand how important this type of thing can be, we must be studiers of the word. This is to lead us to a relationship with Christ, and a relationship with the Holy Spirit. The answer of understanding, of "comprehensive knowledge" is a relationship with the Holy Spirit. His work is what moves us in power to change those around us, to "lead" to "teach".. thank you guys for sharing the Word. Praise God, for His Glorious Power And Might!

Wow this is awesome news! I’ve been watching the Bible project since middle school when we watched a video in Youth group and it peeked my interest. Because of it, I had an interest to dive into the word on my own. Now I’m 22 and God has opened my eyes to so many things. I’m still growing in my relationship with God, and reading the Word everyday. You guys are such inspirations. I’m always amazed by the work of this team!
I like the "dive deep" from so many teachers as to be there, go there, and in the many teachers who taught us, we become teachers ourselves. Nice

I have been watching your videos for a few years now, and I really enjoy them.
I also am just about to finish reading the Bible in a year that was complemented with the Bible project which was great.
Before each book of the Bible, was your video's on each book which gave a who, what, when, why and what it all means.
This was my third time through the word of God, and I was able to understand and get so much more out of it because of the Bible project.

I had been planning to read through the Torah this year, really sit in it (I think that's a Tim Mackey phrase I picked up) and this feels so divinely in tune with my study plans I'm sure it was the Spirit's doing.
The Bible Project is what got me genuinely interested in actually reading the Bible and what no doubt lead me into the process of getting closer to God and growing in my relationship with Him. It is a great blessing to have access to so many resources that are so well-crafted and helpful!

I think hearing you guys go back and forth with dialogue is really motivating. You guys should consider a daily podcast, I think everyone would find Bible Project more personal as they learn and connect with your stories and your walk with Jesus.

I've had so much struggles with reading the bible mostly because the dots didn't really connect as i was reading the bible or it sounded as the same as always so i would often quit half way into a story or skip through it. Glad to be able to read it in a different light and to learn much more cool stuff that i didn't know. Thanks for doing this you guys. It means a lot.

Great news. Just finishing Classroom Beta and “Jonah”. Gained greater insight into tapestry and Hebrew patterns of writing and going deeper into “Jonah”. The App sounds like it will be a great tool. Thinking of possibilities and hoping it will help my friends in Malawi to access Biblical teaching more easily. Thank you.

Being the first generation to have an American education and also the first and only person in my family of 9 to listen to the good news and accepting the good news was a very difficult thing to do. I have no adult to be there for me as I grew up to show me how to live this American life, this human life and now this spiritual life. I have lost many years of a difficult understanding of what I am going through personally. I had made many mistakes for over 10 years giving a bad testimony of Christ because I simply was getting stress out for not understanding what I read in the Bible. I asked for help. but help never came to me. This videos made a big, huge difference to my spiritual growth. I have been watching this videos for 4 days and I feel like I had made so much progress than what I had been trying to do for over 10 years. I wished I had known this a long time ago, my life would've been different. Thank you and I know God will bless you all in many more ways.

I can’t remember exactly when I got hooked up with the Bible project through UA-cam… But I can tell you that I have not been the same. I grew up in the Church reading through the Bible almost every year of my life from my baptism until I graduated high school. I even went to a private Christian college even still I have learned so much more through these videos than I could ever put into words. All of what seems at first glance to be the random notes of scripture are now clearly orchestrated by a God who is full of love, compassion and unfathomable wisdom. The riches of His word are now written on my heart in ways I could not previously imagine.

So excited to see what Jesus is doing at the Bible Project. Have pre registered for the App. This is what Scripture said would happen, taking the Word to every person, the whole world, wow, wow, it's happening before our very eyes. Praise the Lord. ✝️🙏
This really hits home. I was just hoping to see this transition into tech happen, especially because of the lack of good resources related to the Bible. Are you considering semantic web tools and open source licenses for biblical text and study?

@@xdiamond8163 Yes of course, but in the Catholic Church we have a different way of understanding Scripture than say, Protestants. Not to mention that there are half a dozen books more in our Bible!

@@xdiamond8163 Because we pray to icons of Mary and the Saints. All we're doing is venerating these images insofar as they represent God. They confuse that with worship. A lot of Protestants however, understand it and wouldn't make such an accusation.
