Yeah! If you're talking about using the built in vray material library then yes I use that too. But I also use these textures to create materials in vray since they're higher quality 😊
Architecture Inspirations ohh I see. I'm trying to master Vray right now and every time I try to zoom in some materials it gets kinda blurry.I'll try to use textures from the websites you've mentioned. Thanks for the response!
Definitely! I usually use 4K materials. 8K might be a little too much. Sometimes it will show blurry on the sketchup viewport but it should be high quality when rendered 😄
A great tutorial as always 👍, but how these guys make materials ? Some times a found an awesome tiles and i would like to make material from it , what should i do ? Just take a picture for it ? How should i scan the materials? Please if any one can help
Hey Minh, do you think you can possibly create a tutorial for water in vray? I've watched a lot of UA-cam videos but they are very vague about creating water surfaces such as rivers and oceans. Thank you for many helpful tutorials!
Ahh I see, I think caustics is a little different. I haven't experimented that much with it yet. If I figure out how to do it, I'll definitely let you know, or create a small tutorial for it 😄
Anyone can tell me how to remove my account form meo? Because I can't use it outside of portugal? Would be nice if he added you don't actually need to create the account if you want to download each map one by one.
Thanks for replying minh, I was saying that because im using Vray, and I wanted the image to upload into my skecthup as Vismat format so that i dont mess with setting myself, such as adding layers for refraction and reflection. its all good now ,, your tutorials are helpful.
Ah I see. Vray 3.4 doesn't use vismat as much anymore, it uses vrmat now. Importing the maps and creating a vray material from there is not too hard though. I show you how to do it in my "how to create realistic materials" video 😄 and you can always ask me if you have any questions 😊
NOOB HERE - hello, umm yes, I need to know how to change the actual colour of the texture. If i like the texture but i want to edit the colour how do you do this??!? -Thanks!
You are the best as always bro. Have a question, would you be able to make a video explaining diff btw 1k-4k materials??? How different outcomes are..... Thanks!!!
Not always, usually depends on how close you render is. Let's say if you render a close up shot of a wood floor then sure use 8k but if not then 2k or 1k is good enough 😊
Roughness will go in the reflection slot I believe, you may need to invert the map, depending on the map. Ambient occlusion is a little different. I think you need to combine ambient occlusion and the color map using a mix map then place it in the diffuse slot
There are lots of other sites I didnt include in this list. Notice how old the video is lol. Also I dont use blender so I wouldn't know about blenderkit
Thanks!
Wow thank you for the Super Thanks!
finally a ranking video that doesnt spend 10 mins on each rank

Good content as always! Are you still using vray materials or you only use textures from the websites?
Yeah! If you're talking about using the built in vray material library then yes I use that too. But I also use these textures to create materials in vray since they're higher quality 😊

Cпасибо. А вопрос если использовать базовые материалы допустим в Painter или Substance Share. Мне указывать автора материала ?
Meiker желательно, если ты их не создал сам.Если замодил из ассета и расшарил тож помяни оригинал.Добором на добро.

Really thx bro!!

Is license needed when using these materials or it is totally free?
If it's cc0 licensed then totally free
Hey Minh, do you think you can possibly create a tutorial for water in vray? I've watched a lot of UA-cam videos but they are very vague about creating water surfaces such as rivers and oceans. Thank you for many helpful tutorials!
Hi Kevin, that's probably because there are already plenty of water materials in the built in library. Did you try those yet?
Yes, but my problem is I'm trying to create different colors and pool caustics is very hard to understand
Ahh I see, I think caustics is a little different. I haven't experimented that much with it yet. If I figure out how to do it, I'll definitely let you know, or create a small tutorial for it 😄
Thank you!
Thank you!
Is the last two websites free for commercial purposes?
Is poliigon still for free? Because they are payment options?
Anyone can tell me how to remove my account form meo? Because I can't use it outside of portugal? Would be nice if he added you don't actually need to create the account if you want to download each map one by one.

Hi there. How can i add these materials to material asset in revit? TIA
If you're using vray next then you can use the same button to load a custom library
Really superb
Thank you! Very useful.
😄😄😄😄
how can i install this matto v-ray
those images from the top website are jpg and not vismat.. is there a way where you can merge them or convert them into vismat? thanks
Yes they're maps, but that's what you need to create good quality materials. Try watching my "how to create realistic materials" video 😄
i just dont get why they dont merge? or is that i apply material and then add maps ??
Hm I don't understand the questions 🤔 the maps are separate because it gives you more control and help create realistic materials
Thanks for replying minh, I was saying that because im using Vray, and I wanted the image to upload into my skecthup as Vismat format so that i dont mess with setting myself, such as adding layers for refraction and reflection. its all good now ,, your tutorials are helpful.

are any of these textures compatible with after effects and the adobe cloud?
Yeah I mean they're just jpgs mostly

It`s a map in material editor>maps>general>dent
But It is not in my 3ds max and I couldn`t find it in the internet
Are they royalty free?
You are the best as always bro. Have a question, would you be able to make a video explaining diff btw 1k-4k materials???

It's just higher resolution (4K) looks better overall, especially up close :)
Can i use this materials in C4D?
You can use these materials in most 3D softwares
Thank you
I put all of these websites in my bookmark
is it legal to use those textures to create paid games?
Do they work for blender
Yes,
Will these work on enscape
Yes they will. You can watch my enscape materials video
plz suggest some website (materail for element 3D)
it's free for commercial?
Is there any textures or materials of 3D concrete printing?
Hm I'm not familiar with that type of material
My specs computer is I7 6700 GTX 960
Should i go with 8k material?
Not always, usually depends on how close you render is. Let's say if you render a close up shot of a wood floor then sure use 8k but if not then 2k or 1k is good enough 😊
best inspiration
how about roughness and ambient occlusion map where should i put it in asset editor?

Is there any copyright issues regarding this?????
It depends on each website, but for sites like cc0textures, it's royalty free😊

There are lots of other sites I didnt include in this list. Notice how old the video is lol. Also I dont use blender so I wouldn't know about blenderkit
