Since first watching this video and the one about pre-shot routine I have raised my average from about 89 to 92 in American Trap. I shot a 95 today (24, 25, 24, 22). I shot a 25 yesterday as well. Those 25s are fairly rare, so I have definately improved. Thank you. BTW, I have watched many of your videos, so I am sure they have all contributed. You and the Mrs. are very good at explaining things.
Hi Mark, you said you see the end of the gun in your forevision and never make the mistake to focus on the gun, ok! But how do I check my alignment with the midbead, when I should not look at the gun?
It’s ok if you are new and need to align your head correctly on the stock before you call for the target (that is where a mod bead can be helpful) but never see the front sight clearly once the target is in the air. The target is the only thing you need to see clearly. The front sight gives a fore vision a better indication of where the end of the barrel is. In many cases you will hit as many without a front bead as you would with one.
Many thanks! Sometimes we do not realize it, but think about it... Mark is six times Gold medalist and he is here sharing his experience. Amazing...
