As a Greek, i always found interesting the fact that Lithuanian surnames sound familiar to me even though our people and languages are completely unrelated. Ash esu prancuzas ir... I just came back from 2 weeks holidays in Lithuania. It's my 3rd trip there and I always love the experience. My partner is lithuanian (for 10 years already) and we live in my hometown in France. I've been to capital, Trakai, Kaunas but also stayed mainly in villages with max 100 inhabitants and that's the best experience out of it living with the locals. Living in Lithuania for few months per year would be a nice plan!
