Haydn is one of the few composers who can create such wonderful music with the employment of only a single musical idea; very cool opening movement.
Using the key of F# major for the largo creates a really nice atmosphere as none of the instruments can utilize their open strings. Very buttery tone quality for the beautiful music.

The largo is very beautiful, especially the section beginning at 9:00 up to the crescendo at 9:50

I love this quartet, especially since its first movement is not a traditional sonata form, which gives to the whole quartet an impetus and a movement which I find so peculiar !
