Randy's been doing Jimi since 1979 when I saw him in and old movie theatre in Guerneville , California...still the best Jimi! Spoke to him many times since then in Ca. and Europe.

To listen to Randy play , where he's so respectful to Jimi's music and all the while nailing it and revealing it's timeless properties . Then while listening , to view the form and style of the dancers , and to ever so clearly perceive the ocean of time since .I find a sense of sadness in realizing the state of the world today , all this tech and yet so many are miserable . Thank you Randy (and bandmates) for keeping JMH's music alive. As a 70 year old I was fortunate enough to see Jimi play live. His music is still unbelievably great after all these years. When I close my eyes and listen to you play and sing it brings back so many great memories of him playing. He would be so pleased to know someone has continued to play his music for so many to hear. Yea Randy turned it out! Great show I'm glad he's still doing his thing it's not Jimi but it very electrifying I saw him back in the day. He broke into a Solo jumped off the stage ran thru the audience and out the club and in the middle of the street playing just goin off 🔥🔥🔥
Jimi wasn't the first to do that. Buddy Guy did that all the time. Magic Sam before him. Buddy has a wireless system now and goes into the street outside da club to play for those who can't get in. He freaked a guy out one time by standing next to an auditorium entryway playin his ass off, when this guy busts in to the auditorium and there's Buddy standing there playin the fire out his guitar right there next to him. The look on his face was priceless! Wish I coulda been that guy.

Hi - thank you - well, the venue is an unbelievable 3D dome and this footage is just, what was filmed of us live on stage and beeing realtime processed and projected to the dome. It was never meant to be released anywhere, but we thought, it´s to cool, to not put it out here. We had so many shows cancelled, with lots of disappointed dear fans, that we decided to fill the gap with little new clips.
I worked with MITCH MITCHELL & BUDDY MILES as an agent in the 1980s and both guys hooked up with Mr. Hansen for some awesome & memorable performances. If guys who actually were part of the HENDRIX legacy loved RANDY that says it all!

Well, Randy takes a lot of hits. He once broke his rib in a tourbus accident in italy, while beeing asleep in the back. The same night we played a show and he did a back roll on stage. He´s crazy. I love him, he´s my brother, but he´s crazy. So, the answer is yes, he has pain, but would never show it.

Randy is literally smoking! Look at all them yellow fumes! I so miss the music of Jimi Hendrix and Cream. Would Randy consider throwing in one or two Cream songs as part of the show? Jimi used to occasionally do Sunshine Of Your Love, but that's become a bit of a cliche, so maybe some other songs from the Cream catalog. It would be fun to hear how Hendrix would have done them, and Randy is about the only person on the planet who could do an authentic job of it. Just a thought.
