The violence was engineered and the CM is complicit in the act. Mobs were allowed to havoc rampage in imphal valley despite the presence of huge police, army and central police. Kuki-Zo localities burnt, houses looted and destroyed, people killed, women raped and some even burnt alive. The violence was justified by spreading false narratives that Kukis were killing meitei people at Lamka, raping meitei women at Lamka- which were all false and denounced by the meiteis only. Yet, they held rallies in Delhi and Ghy using stolen images of other victims from internet and used them to instigate more violence. Pls don't see this violence as only a mere ST demand issue, it was engineered and state sponsored.

What's apalling is that these people were living peacefully for decades and suddenly the fringe elements of BJP led Biren Singh's government comes to power and creates havoc in their lives. Why President rule is not imposed in the State so that they can continue to wipe out Kuki villages?? 33 other tribes also became Christian. They are not Christian before. By 1896 Christian missionary came in Manipur. Like wise Meitei Choose Hindu and Other tribes choose Christianity. Today also all the Meitei have own characteristics. Even Kabui tribes are Christian but they also have lalingthou at their house same as Meitei.
Those who really understand the gravity of the situation will only suggest and wish for Separate Administration. This will solve the issue

If the ST Status granted to Meiteis , there will be some more violence in the NE states of India because all the ST Communities of Assam , Nagaland , Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal , Meghalaya will cones out openly oppose the issue due to ST Reservation Quotas of Centre Jobs and Educational will be badly affected. If the Centre Govt should be aware of possibility unwanted outcomes in this issue.

जब सविधान बना उस समय तक अंग्रेजों की मिशनरी संस्था ने आदिवासियों के आधी आबादी को ईसाई बना चुके थे हमारे संविधान निर्माताओं ने शायद इस तरफ़ ध्यान नहीं दिया, कि आरक्षण आदिवासियों को उनके प्रकृति पुजक, उनके व्यक्तिक आस्था , विशिष्ट परिधान,बोली भाषा, उनके रीति रिवाजों और शार्मिले स्वभाव के कारण, सांस्कृति,बाकी दुनिया से अलग रहने के कारण, विकास के मुख्य धारा मे उनको जोड़ा जाये इसलिए दिया गया था परिणाम ये हुआ कि आज़ादी के 75 साल हो आदिवासी विभिन्न धर्मो मे बटन गए, लेकिन अब समय आ गया हैं कि आदिवासियों को मिलने वाला आरक्षण कि पुनःसमीक्षा की जाए, जो इसका हकदार है उसी को मिले वरना आदिवासियों कि विशिष्ट सांस्कृति विलुप्त हो जायेगी
