Post it on instagram, with link to your channel, and the suggest to follow and like the video. Thanks for your video, was usefull for my final test of pathology
So Okay, I didn’t use to commented on most videos that i watching just watch and take the important informations and that it 😅 But these gastritis videos from your channel omg you cant image how did you save me 😢😢😢😮 i have final after two weeks and i made alot of researches but they was useless except yours , thank u alot ❤❤❤
As in autoimmune gastritis there can be vitamin B 12 deficiency and Symptoms of lack of vitamin B12 can cause serious anemia, nerve damage and degeneration of the spinal cord. It is common for anemia to develop first.. A lack of B12 damages the myelin sheath that surrounds and protect nerves. So the neuropathy. Hope you got your answer
Doctor, I have had chronic pain and back pain for about a year above the navel. I had a CT scan and there was a thickening in the second part of the duodenum 5mm. I had a scan before without a biopsy, and the doctor told me that it was normal for six months. But today I had a blood test due to a slight vitamin B12 deficiency And this was the result Ac Anti Gastric Parietal Cells (IF serum/plasma) Interpretation: Weakly positive at 1/10 -1/10: Positive Result Result : negative Does this mean I have autoimmune gastritis?
It is given that these autoantibodies are not pathogenic because neither intrinsic factor nor ppi are accessible to circulating antibodies and passive transfer does not cause gastritis. Then how does gastritis occur without autoantibody reacting?
These auto antibodies are pathogenic along with sensitized T cells.Complex interaction of autoantibodies against the parietal cell proton pump and sensitized T cells progressively destroy the parietal cells, inducing hypochlorhydria and then achlorhydria, while autoantibodies against the intrinsic factor impair the absorption of vitamin B₁₂.
The treatment of autoimmune atrophic gastritis is generally focused on preventing or treating vitamin B12 deficiency. If anemia is already present at the time of diagnosis, vitamin B12 injections may be recommended. Also regular follow up with endoscopy is done as there is increased risk of cancer.
@@pathologysimplified It is unfortunate that the treatment for autoimmune atrophic gastritis is generally focused on treating vitamin B12 deficiency, and neglecting the treatment of hypochlorhydria, which effects your body's ability to properly digest and absorb animal protein, which causes a host of other medical issues. Very informative video. Do you have a book or web site with additional information on Autoimmune Atrophic Gastritis? Have you seen patients with AIG progress to gastric stomach cancer? (Not Type ! carcinoid cancer.)
Yes, there are blood test that will check whether or not you have high levels of autoantibodies against Intrinsic factor or against parietal cells of your stomach. This autoantibodies will cause inflammation of the stomach, and with time will cause parietal cells to be destroyed, which in turn will not allow to absorb vitamin B12 and will cause iron deficiecy (anemia perniciosa). Therefore, B12 injections and iron supplementation would be necessary to avoid diseases related to B12 and iron deficiency.
@@suchitapatra6146 You give some blood with your GP that will be analyzed in the laboratory to check whether you have a specific type of antibodies made by your own immune system to attack your stomach.

How can neuropathy and loss neuronal action occur? Can u explain the patho genesis?

Pathology Simplified Ohh got it. Thank you so much 😊.
Subacute combined degenration of the cord
But if B12 is administered before neurological damage, will it prevent it? Thanks!
From where I can get your notes?
Can Autoimmune gastrite be associated with Eusenophila Colitis?

Sir have you consulted with doctor? What they said? Please reply sir. Please

@shekharsharma4479 tq for replying bro...I am suffering from bile reflux gastritis...Praying to the god
@shekharsharma4479 I am from Tamilnadu bro...Do you have inflammation in stomach lining? And its causing me pain. Where r u from bro?
