@@Altarielk I love Kirill's energy in this scene. Herbert is the conductor of the dream and you can tell how much Kirill is enjoying the performance. Love it!
@@Suzy.musician I think all this scene goes by this way: Before the scene Herbert asks Magda what Alfred really likes. In fact, she can't say. She doesn't know type of Alfred so good, but she heard how Alfred swearing his love to Sarah. Not good enough, but even that can be useful. Then Herbert brings Sarah into the dream to lure Alfred's attention. Herbert is the conductor of the dream indeed, but not only by hisself. Alfred has a power to resist him, not so succesfull, but as hard as he can. That's why the catolic songs acrosses the main theme of Carpe Noctem! Then both of guys are trying to turn scenario of the dream on their side. The result is average between the wishes if the guys, and it is almost uncontrolled). Kirill is truly amazing in this role❤️. Hi's the star!
@@Altarielk That's a wonderful explanation. I haven't thought of that before. Thank you for this insight. I think it's a wonderful sequence and you're right, it is a mixture between Alfred's and Herbert's wishes. I wish that Alfred would have fallen in love with Herbert, to be honest. It would have changed the storyline but I think it would be a good story as well.
@@Suzy.musicianUnlike the original movie, in the musical Alfred is a little charmed by Herbert (just like everyone else, heh). But Alfred becames paralized by fear in any non-standart situation. And he's focused on his feelings for Sarah. They say that even if Alfred could be able to kill van Krolock Sr. in the crypt, he still definitely couldn't be able to kill Herbert. But I think Alfred (while he is human) simple can't break his emotional block to raise his hand against the owner of the castle, who received him according to the hospitality ethics, especially if this owner is sleeping. Personal relation is not important by this moment.

I saw the hungarian live performance yesterday at Budapest and that was perfect too.
Wow, that's great! Who played the role of the Count?☺️
@@4catharsis Gábor Bot was the Count. He is my favorite actor in this performance.
@@Katherine18641 He is absolutely fantastic😍
@@4catharsis I agree. He plays fantastic. His Count is always different, he plays differently every time.
Вначале поёт не Антон Авдеев? Очень похож голос
Да, он
На 2:53 Герберт посмотрел на Альфреда :D
Я вам больше скажу, он тут вообще единственный реально присутствующий, остальное всё сон😊
